I had been looking for a new tote bag to use as a general every day bag. I like an open tote bag that will stand up that I can reach into and grab what I'm looking for. I wanted a bag that looks and feels like real leather but with the price of PU leather. This bag fills most of those points. The ostrich textured PU leather does look and feel very authentic. I liked several colors and had a hard time deciding but I went with the brown color as I felt it was the most natural looking. I'm happy with the color, it will go with everything, but all the others are nice also. Because the leather is soft, it won't stand up when it's empty. I don't like bags that are too stiff, so you can't have everything. I put a lot of "stuff" in my bag so it stands fairly well and just slouches over at the top. It's big enough to distribute the weight and the straps stay put on my shoulder better than many other bags. It's not an open tote. It has a zipper that closes the top, which is good for traveling. It's more secure and nothing falls out if It falls over. The zipper opens fully so it's easy to get into the bag. And you can just leave it open. The zipper doesn't close the whole bag; it leaves an opening on either size of the zipper which is great. It leaves room for an umbrella or a tall water bottle to stand up. It has a good strong lining in a nice dark tan color, with two open pockets on one side, a zippered pocket on the other and a full width zippered divider. Most bags have these dividers in the middle of the bag which divides it into two equal sized sections. This divider is all the way over to the back side leaving one small side and one large side. I really like that feature. The larger side gives you plenty of space of books, a tablet or small laptop. I have a good sized inner organizer bag in mine where I put lots of small things and I can switch out to another tote bag easily. And I like that it has a good sized zippered pocket on the outside. And the zipper pulls are very attractive. I think the straps are usually the weakest feature of most tote bags, but the straps on this bag are good. They're strong, stitched on both sides, yet soft and flexible. I was leary of the buckles. The holes in these kind of straps usually don't hold up under pressure, so, time will tell about them. But I do like the fact that the strap length can be adjusted. I lengthened mine right away so I can easily sling the bag over my shoulder with a heavy coat on. A longer strap doesn't slide off as easily as a shorter one. I would like the hardware better if it was a little less brassy/gold. I would prefer a silver or grayish toned metal but I know gold is popular and this is not brassy enough to be unacceptable. Overall it's a great bag, especially for the price.

I bought the large tote in black. It exceeded my expectations. I can't recall if it's real leather or vegan leather (I'll have to google that), or imitation. Either way, it looks and feels like leather. It's soft and sturdy. Hold tons of crap that I drag to the hospital for work.I get compliments on this bag every day. I wouldn't have ever seen this item but one day I clicked on daily deals and there it was for $20!!! I could not pass that up. Now you see why I really expected some junk. But the reviews were good. So I bought it fast! Now I'm kicking myself for not buying my mom one for her birthday. Wait! It's not for 2 more days....maybe I can swing it! She loves it too and had me fwd the Amazon info to her right then and there. The part I wasn't crazy about, the brown leather laced on one side, was her favorite part. It ended up growing on me and now I don't want to change purses. I guess I'll just have to buy two this time. One for Mom's bday and one in a lighter, summery color. Gotta go! Scarleton is calling my name!Oh btw, it comes w a little bag/purse inside that has a detachable shoulder strap and a wristlet style wallet that is attached to a handle of the big bag & hangs inside the bag or you cd remove it if you like.👍🏻💗💗💗👍🏻Last thing. I promise! In the pictures, the open one has a tablet & a notebook inside. It wd fit a regular sized laptop.

I went searching for a bag to have as a book bag: I've always preferred having them over one shoulder instead of a backpack. I originally found this bag because of another smaller counterpart made by the company. For only $35, this bag is a goldmine! its not quite as large as it appears on the model, she must be a size 0 model. The hardware is sturdy, the zippers are nice, the leather and inner bag are sewn nicely, the leather handles are really nice, the texture of the bag isn't quite as raised as it appears, its basically flat, round imprints. The zippered pocket on the outside as well as the smaller zippered pocket on one wall inside are both shallow pockets, around 3-4" deep, but fairly wide. The zipper that keeps the bag closed for security is kind of interesting, it is not end to end, but nice and wide, someone could still slip a hand in there, so I wouldn't walk around thinking you are invincible with it. I think this will last a long time, even if not, I'll happily get more afterwards, amazing brand!One year update: still doing great, I can fit my 17" laptop in no problem, I only recently had a problem with one of the straps: it is just about to the point to snap and I wish there was a way to buy a replacement that matches.

I am reviewing this now but will update if need be--as I've only had it a week. But initial review of it is I love it! Great size, nicely done liner with lots of pocket options for phone, etc. I love the dark brown colour and straps--even though it is all faux/man made it seems decently put together and time will tell if it holds up to daily use as it has become my main day bag/purse. I had this bag in my wishlist for quite some time and the price dropped making it an easy decision to give it a try and so far I'm very pleased with the product!

I got this set in black and I love it and the little change purse that comes with it; I find the extra black purse a little plain. However, it can be used to help keep things organized inside the big one. I didn't notice at first because it wasn't really strong, but It did have a slight "fishy" smell inside the "velvet like" lining. So I aired it out for a day or so and gave it a couple spritz of my favourite perfect; I can't smell it anymore.

Great tote - good size and it was a pleasant surprise to receive the smaller purses along with it. Best of all - no bad odour that was mentioned by a few other buyers. Would have like an inside zipper pouch, but I knew there wasn't one when I ordered the tote. I only wish Amazon carried the same purse in the lovely reds and blues that others raved about.

I had this bag in and out of my virtual basket for days. It was inexpensive so I was a bit doubtful about the quality but it was cheap enough for me to tae a risk. I really like it though. It's a good big size, probably tall enough to fit a lap top or an A4 folder. It looks really good.

I love this bag! I love the cross body bag that comes inside of it as well. Its perfect for traveling because I can organize the tote bag with the cross body acting as a pouch and when I get to my destination, just take that out and it's the perfect size for a small wallet, camera, umbrella and other essentials. I know that some reviews said that the bag had a smell. I didn't notice that at all. I've used the tote everyday for the past week and have gotten so many compliments on it. I may order another colour!
