The media could not be loaded. I painted mine with ceramic matte black. Works best when put within an exhaust system. 12 inches or more of pip afterwards for best results. 5/5 will buy again for another bike. Had this for a year now. I bolted mine with 5/16" self tapping metal screws cause ai have no welder. Tight fitting, Sounds 👍 👌

I have a 2020 Ford Mustang EcoBoost, and I put a 3” custom exhaust with SLP “resonators” on my Mustang about two weeks before I got this little resonator. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much since my exhaust setup had quite a bit of drone on the freeway. I had my local exhaust shop install this resonator, and after they put it on and I drove it. I was impressed with the sound. It got rid of like 60-70% of the drone, and I still have that loud volume I love from my Mustang. But it’s not so loud that I can’t have a conversation in my car like before. Definitely scoop this up if you want a loud exhaust but want to eliminate most of the drone!

I bought a 2018 Mustang GT with active exhaust, which sounded pretty good as is. But I wanted more of an old school muscle sound so I replaced the factory resonator with an h-pipe. Thay lowered the tone but made it a bit too loud for my taste and was raspy in the higher rpms. I bought 2 of these "mufflers" and put them in the middle of my h-pipe and I have finally achieved my perfect exhaust note. It brought it down a little deeper, took the volume down a smidge, and no more high end raspe. And with 304 steel I won't have to worry about them rusting out.One thing to note, one end is slightly larger than the other. I could fit one end perfectly over my 2.5 pipe, but the other end I had to butt up. No big deal but would have been way easier and more air tight sliding both ends together.

Researching sounds for exhaust can be difficult because each car/motor/setup will produce a different tone and experience. The quality of these are nice. However, using the “racing” term to describe the tone of these guys would be a far stretch. I have a 68 Ford 302 with long tube headers and these mounted roughly 2ft before side exhaust tips. They don’t sound like the “race” cars I work with and around. They are mildly “aggressive” at best and are somewhat, tame. They will provide a nice pop or rasp upon decel every now and then. I’d say they are 20-30% quieter than open headers. I feel pleased. They do rip at some moments. While not waking the neighbors. They will crackle and excite you but not always. I’d really give them a 7/10 for daily use. I’m happy, but left wanting a bit more.

Put these on a Kooks true dual exhaust to take a little edge off of the cold start up and drone.Worked as expected, deepened the tone a bit, but cut back on the drone quite a bit.

The media could not be loaded. Installed this on a 2001 E46 with headers and a custom dual exhaust. This was perfect to get rid of the exhaust drone at highway speeds and lower the noise a bit during start up and at idle but still gives you plenty of noise when you step on the throttle. Absolutely love it. Will use again and highly recommend.

I'm giving this 3 stars because it looks like a solid piece, and because I'm familiar with the brand.I specifically ordered this resonator because I liked it the most out of the select resonators that would arrive on time. I'm supposed to have my car into the shop this morning along with my parts. However, upon recieving my resonator I realized it's probably not going to work. Either the description for the part I ordered is wrong or just REALLY poorly worded. I plan on checking in with the shop in the morning, and then probably taking the drive I was trying to avoid to get the part I need for my vehicle.I had a feeling that I should have checked with the seller about the ID/OD as I have a very busy week at work and desperately needthiswork done. But I felt pretty confident with my interpretation and I didn't have much time to order. I will acknowledge that much as my fault. If you're pressed for time: Don't make the same mistake I did.

Where do I start? Product was saying 14 days to receive. Ordered on Fri came Mon. Super quick A+. Way smaller than I thought but not a bad thing. Installed on 2000 vette that had a corsa extreme on it and sounded great but these things took the edge off it and really improved overall sound. Not really less volume just took the edge off like I said. Only complaint was the inlet and outlet was different size which wasn’t an issue but would be nice to know. Inlet was 2.5 outlet was big enough to slip over 2.5
