Q: There are no cable mount screws or brackets. How do you keep a cable from being pulled out? What is the best way to cut the cable openings?

The cables pass through are easily opened by punching through with a screw driver and then using a pair of pliers to open the holes to desired size. (this is very easily done). Once I passed the cable through I just turned it sideways to wedge it into the pass through opening and it held in firmly.

Q: will a CGFI outlet fit in this box?

For future reference, the question is about a GFCI: Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter. I'm just putting that here for searches.

Q: W/outlet & switch installed via the device holes (this box in an exterior wall), a weatherproof cover could install via holes of the outlet/switch?

Yes. Box is listed for in wall installation, flush with wall. Will work with weatherproof covers when box installed as intended.

Q: Is it the price for just 1 box?

As of July 2019 there is a one box option for $1.57 as an add-on purchase. Amazon usually allows multiples of add-on items to be purchased so using that option four boxes would be cheaper than the "four box" option. These look like a neat box for old-work use, I am more familiar with the blue old-work boxes but these look to be more securely fastened than those.
