Full disclosure....I purchased this from Amazon's returns area to save some money. I have had good luck with purchasing Amazon returns previously but not this time. The first item I got was not even for the vehicle I was installing it in (2004 Pilot). Of course I did not see it was the wrong size until I had taken the door panel off and removed the old assembly. So, put everything back together again and exchanged it. The next one came and it looked to be the same. Disassemble the door again, remove the old part and install this new power window lift. It went in pretty good. A couple of the mounting holes were a bit tight but I could get the screws in okay. The last mounting screw would not go in no matter how much maneuvering around of the lift I did. This last mounting screw just would not go in. I had the choice to leave it without this screw or start cutting on the inside door panel to elongate the hole to match this new window lift. I just left the one mounting screw out because everything seemed to be pretty secure. After getting the door panel back on and testing the new power window lift I noticed that the window didn't go all the way down. It was up only a little bit but still not entirely right. It is an old vehicle so I felt it was good enough. In the future I will be a little more thoughtful about what items I purchase from Amazon returns. Overall, the window goes up and down (mostly down) but I do wish I didn't have to deal with these issues just to save a couple bucks.
