This cutter are a perfect addition to terminate Ethernet cables. I used them to install Ethernet cables in my house renovation project and they have been great. They cut flush and precise which helps with the level of precision required when terminating Ethernet cables.

Works perfectly for trimming off excess zip ties. Well made product.

Perfect tool for my ethernet job

It’s time to retire my electrician scissors. I should have been using this flush cutter in the first place. I’m able to cut the Ethernet wires in a clean fashion so I can put the pass through plug without getting tangled. The downside is that the flush cutter should have a cover to protect from getting cut. The blades super sharp so someone can get hurt, however, I can still use the packaging. The value of this tool is a must since it will save you time when terminating your data cables. The size of the tool can easily fit in your tool bag. I highly recommend this product for your projects.

Nice cutters. Very sharp, great rebound, smooth cut. These are well made. I install a lot of both UTP and STP cable and these are great. Bery competitive price.

I dropped them while sitting on a low stool, and the spring that pushes the snips open popped out from between the handles. I rigged it so that they can still hold open, but the spring is now digging into the metal while set up like this, so I don’t know how long they’ll last. I can’t figure out how it was originally configured, either. However, I did decide to cheap out with these things. I debated buying the Knipex pair for ~$35, but figured it was just one job (I’m an electrician but don’t normally do low voltage), so I might as well save myself the money. While I expected the cheap pair to not last as long, I didn’t expect them to last only two days of doing Shielded CAT6A connections While they were jerry rigged so that they’d still open themselves, I was able to get through the ~200 cables that needed connectors. But I’m still disappointed that they still seem to be broken

This cutter is great for cutting the fine wires and getting close to where you need to cut. I recommend this purchase if you plan on installing RJ45 connectors.
