SWELL Wakesurf Creator H3X Plus - The Best Wake Shaper - Extendable Length, Rotating with Hydrodynamic Texture

I ordered this wake shaper for our 2006 24EV Tige ski boat. Have been wakesurfing and wakefoiling for years, but always making sure we had a full tank of gas, full boat of people, or asking folks to move around as the sweet spot behind our boat was pretty small. Purchased this item, came on time and was very easy to install on the boat (you do need a little arm strength to push down the clasps) but simple enuf to do and has stayed put the whole time (we only have it on when we are surfing - so < 14 miles/hr speed as recommended.). NET - creates a sharper wake on the starboard side (in our boat the Port side was always the better wake) and a bigger sweet spot for surfing and wakefoiling so easier for everyone to enjoy! Works as advertised and WAY less expensive than a new boat or much easier than having to fill up bladders or add physical weights. Totally recommend and absolutely notice the improvement.

When I first saw the Swell H3X+ I was very intrigued. When you look at all the wakeshapers on the market today they all seem very similar, sure they vary is sizes and colors but the all interact with the water in the same way. I own a 07 Sanger V230 a boat that likes a lot of weight to produce a good surfable wake. Currently using a Mission Delta wakeshaper I decide to take advantage of Swell’s 30 day trial period and compare it to my trusted mission delta. What I found with my result was a much Crisper/cleaner wake. My wake with the swell produced a sharper break over point and a much longer roaster tail. The wake over all just felt denser making it feel as if I was going much faster than I had been use to. The H3X+ ability to be more flexible in its position aloud me to fine tune my wake in a way I could never do with the mission delta. It would be like comparing it to 4K the swell just did everything sharper!! I do believe this truly is the next generation wakeshaper, I for one will be keeping mine and look forward to getting back out on the water. I will say this if this is your first device go for it it truly is a step up from the competition. If you are looking for a upgrade give this one a try, I think you will be surprised and how much more defined your wake can be. urprised and how much more defined your wake can be.

Super happy with this wake shaper! Using it on a 2002 Super Air Nautique 210 and getting a killer surf wake on BOTH sides with stock ballast! Tons of push to surf rope less on a very small skim type board, also finally was able to nail a 360 without the rope and stay in the wake!Best part about it is not having to be nearly as weighted to the surf side so it’s not so critical to make everyone move to one side of the boat or the other and best of all not using additional fat sacs inside the boat and having to fill / drain them.The tunability with the H3X Plus is great, and while the older nautiques aren’t a big boat we seemed to have the most push with the shaper fully extended. The tilt function is cool to keep the shaper angled correctly. It is built very well and everything is very easy to adjust / put on and take off the boat. Very happy with this purchase!

DO NOT BUY THIS. Ive used other swell surf products and they never came unattached to the boat. Usually extremely satisfied with their product. This was installed properly and secured but it didn't even last one run. It fell off and was unable to be located. Huge waste of your money unless you want to dedicate one person on your boat to watch for it coming off and not enjoy the surfer. AVOID THIS

Had another name brand and it broke at bracket where it slides in and out. This one seems better built and throws a more crisp wake.

The Swell H3x Plus is a game changer. It works great on all boats (we tried on a Malibu and Mastercraft) and is adjustable for maximum performance. The difference between no shaper and the new H3x Plus is indescribable. The wave has more push, a better feel, and is customizable based on personal preference.We surfed full ballast (900 lbs) with our Mastercraft. On the Goofy side, we had it fully extended and turned down. The wave was long, curling, and easy to ride. Overall, a great product for every surfboat.

It creates an amazing wake until it breaks. I used it twice and it broke in half!!! Customer service was excellent and shipped the replacement part right away, but after breaking it again in a few weeks I don't think it is worth the money!!!!

I purchased this "wake gate" to replace an early model no name brand. I assumed that the resultant wake would be about the same or slightlyimproved, boy was I wrong. Before I decided to use it the first time, I thought it needed a more robust tether. So, I removed the tether from my old one (the only part that is superior to the Swell) which is a short piece of tow rope with a stainless clip. Once that was done we headed out. I must not have positioned the suction cups properly because it let loose. I didn't make that mistake again, and have had no problems since.Anyway, the multiple angle adjustments that you can make means you WILL be making multiple adjustments. We all want our best wake possible, right?If your answer is YES, make sure of 2 things:A) your Swell Wake Creator is positioned completely below the waterline.B) You're in water depth over 9 ft. (At least if you have a 2007 Supra).Couldn't tell you why the depth of the water is important but, for me, it is.The results were a larger, and better defined, wake than has ever been generated by my older boat. Even with just one passenger, and unequal ballast left-to-right, the wake is outstanding. The biggest problem now is that I can't convince my wife that we need a new boat.Thanks to the designer of this wakesurf masterpiece.
