Terrasoul Superfoods Organic Hulled Sesame Seeds, 4 Lbs (2 Pack) - Perfect for Tahini | Gluten-free | Raw

On the back, and not part of the Amazon description, so far as I can tell, the package says ALLERGY INFO: Packaged in a facility that handles tree nuts. This is unusual and should have been noted on the Amazon page (if it was, I couldn't find it). This could be a big deal if I want to make nut-free foods and potentially share them with friends with serious nut allergies, although my kitchen is not nut-free, or for a buyer who is severely allergic to tree nuts. Condition was good, supposed to be fresh for the next 9 months or so, seeds might be a little smaller than normal supermarket ones, no rocks or sand that I could see on quick glance into partly opened package, don't think there was a lead warning like another brand I didn't buy.

The quality of this brand of sesame seeds is good. I like to roast them to use on salads and different dishes when I cook. But, the majority of them were used for making tahini. It didn’t take me long to go through these 2 bags, so I try to buy in a larger bulk purchase, if possible. I would recommend this brand and would definitely buy them again.

This item will expire in 3 months. This is way too short a window for perishable goods for sale. I do not own a restaurant so I will probably have to throw half of it away, at least. If I had known that I would have found another vendor.

We make our own tahini, so I thought I'd try this two pack of sesame seeds from Terrasoul. It's a good buy and the seeds are fresh, good quality. Never been disappointed by any Terrasoul product.

We use a lot of sesame seeds in our baking and these were great! Good flavor!
