I'm always nervous ordering furniture online. Ordered FOUR of these. Came well packed, but man are the boxes heavy! LoLAll of them were SUPER easy to put together. They're really a 'satin' finish jet black chair. (I can't perceive any 'espresso' in the finish. No streaks or undertones of a brown/black). They're jet black. All over. And all of mine were perfect. Not a nick, scratch, dent. or mark. No pulling out the old Sharpie. All the hardware was there. All the drilled holes lined up. All the "cutout" design/bars were even on each chair.Very heavy wood. Modern look. I'm 170 and they don't 'give' at all. Don't feel like they'll crack or break under me. All the legs are even lengths on my hardwood floor. No wobble. A great bargain.Very satisfied. Highly recommend.

Would buy again
I was pleasantly surprised by this purchase. The chairs were delivered in excellent condition. Not a single scratch and we ordered 2 sets, 4 chairs total. They were easy to assemble. My husband and I did all 4 in about an hour. We love the look, color (black on black), height, and comfort. Would recommend this chair to others looking for black on black w cushion seat!*UPDATE*We’ve had these chairs for 8 months now. We are still very much in love with them. We have 3 young kids and they have held up nicely!

Not as pictured
The chair is sturdy and easy to assemble but definitely a lot darker than pictured. It’s more of a coffee color. If I had known it was so dark, I would not have purchased them.

Not too keen on the 'pleather' but they are good for what I need them for. Easy to put together and fairly strong.
