First of all, the seller was FAST. Like super hero Flash fast!! I ordered these lights on Tuesday and got them the very next day! They weren't scheduled to arrive till the second day after. Yes, the postal service was doing a great job too, but if this seller hadn't jumped on getting this order out it wouldn't have made it in just one day. (Granted it helps that I'm in the same state and not but an hour or so away). Still, great job on the sellers behalf!Now the lights themselves. These lights are fantastic for my daughter and I. We have built up a quiet little oasis in our back yard and these lights are the fairy element we were looking for in this area. We weren't able to drag out electrical hookups because the distance was too great so the battery operation was our only way to go. And the lights had to be able to be subjected to rain, snow, humidity, and dew. This was perfect for our needs. Even though the battery case is supposed to hold up in gentle weather we decided to put it in a plastic ziplock bag and hang it with the ziplock opening face down to prevent rain from finding a way into the bag. The remote control device was an excellent bonus as it was helpful to light up the area as we walked toward it. (We live on several acres). The bright and dim settings were fabulous!! We always make it bright before we turn it off so that when we turn it back on we can see the area clearly as we approach. Then adjust the brightness to suit our mood when settling into our oasis. As a cute addition to the lights, we bought colored ping pong balls and snipped tiny holes into them so that we could put one ball over every other lightbulb. Wow, what a scene. There are 100 lights and now 50 colored ping pong balls every other bulb. (Wanted to have the white lights so we could see them better from a distance. The balls might have been harder to see). I sat down and measured out the length of this strand of lights and came up with approximately 33' of it. And that was not including the 3'3" of line from the battery box to the first light bulb. (I realize these aren't bulbs but I can't think of what else to call these lights). The lights themselves are approximately 3" apart. The nine light settings is awesome. For a cheap indoor/outdoor, remote controlled, battery operated light system with multiple settings!!?? What more could we ask for!? Too perfect for so little cost. We love these so much we are looking for more places to hang these so we have a good excuse to buy more. Later I will try to add photos of what we did but I don't think it will give this set of lights the real justice they are worthy of. These lights are a great buy.

*****New review: After posting my original review (below), I received the kindest, most genuine email from the company, apologizing for my experience, and asking if I would please please give another set a try- they weren’t asking me to review it or anything else, just simply to see if a brand new set, same model I had purchased, shipped and all free, would work better since they had a small number of reports of a glitch occurring. I was blown away by the company and after my SCATHING review that they still only wanted one thing- to produce a great product people loved, and literally beggedMe to give them another chance- WOW. And they were right- the new set (identical to the original set), worked incredibly well, and if set to stay on full strength for 8 hours/day, you end up changing the batteries every month or so (I ended up buying the amazon brand 100 pack of AA batteries for like $20 that are excellent and keep some near the lights to make replacing batteries a breeze). The light hey give off is low and not a good choice if using to light a path or something like that- I have them woven into the canopy of my bed for a starry sky look in a Harry Potter themed bedrooom, and they’re perfect for that. In the end, great product, even betterCompany.Original review: I thought these were simply lights being powered by AA batteries- not a spaceship, which is how these lights seemed to drain through batteries!! The batteries needed changing EVERY SINGLE DAY!

I was excited to try battery powered lights on our tree for the first time, and these lights didn't disappoint! They're bright, have many different modes, and the fact that they came with batteries was a plus.However, there were no remote controls included in the package. When I went back to look at the product page, I realized that only the single strand version came with a remote, not the 4-pack that I purchased.Even so, I received four individual 16-foot light strands at a great price, and I don't think I'll ever go back to plug-in lights again.

The 36 ft string was perfect for a 20 ft garland I bought. I was able to wrap it rather close together to get a dense light look and it is now hanging outside over the entry way. I will note that the timer function is not as simple as other remote light strings I own. For some reason, these designers forwent a timer function button on the remote itself and installed a "timer switch" instead. You have to flip the "timer switch" to on within the battery box to start the timer at all. Not a true problem; unless you forget to do so before hanging it up somewhere.Also the design of the remote itself is very strange. The numbers are styled like the buttons on a phone, but the numbers are all over the place and there is no number 5. The string itself however is quite robust and the lights are indeed a warm white and bright. There IS an additional note within the manual itself that warns that the lights are "recommended mostly for indoor use but can be used outdoors." It is also recommended that in rain or damp weather you should use a "plastic bag to cover the battery box." So I would suggest either making sure the battery pack ends up under an awning or some kind of covering, or make some kind of protection for it before putting it up. This could just be the company covering its bases, but better safe than sorry.

The media could not be loaded. Preiswerte reizvolle Beleuchtung. Sicherheitshalber habe ich die Behälter mit den Batterien in Gläser mit Schraubverschluss oder Plastikdosen mit Deckel eingepackt. Der Baum ist doch Regen und Schnee ziemlich ausgesetzt. Funktioniert schon seit einem Monat tadellos und dank Timerfunktion pünktlich. Die verschiedenen Modi sind auch sehr reizvoll. Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Ottimo prodotto, ne ho acquistati due l'anno scorso e uno adesso per questo Natale. Ho comprato le luci per metterle all'esterno nel mio giardino e lo hanno reso molto bello. I led sono molto luminosi ed è molto comodo che si alimentino con batteria così da non aver fili di corrente in giro. Simpatiche le diverse animazioni con effetti molto belli che si possono cambiare facilmente a distanza con il telecomando fornito.

Me encantan estos luces. Se cargan muy bien con la energía solar. Hemos probado también dejar las luces cargando dentro de la terraza cerrada en un sitio muy luminoso, pero sin sol directo y todavía se cargan bien. Dan una luz mágica y delicada, bastante para iluminar una área un poco en la oscuridad completa. Las volveré a comprar.

Meine Kollegin war aufgrund der bevorstehenden Weihnachtszeit vor Wochen schon auf der Suche nach einer Lichterkette, welche mit Batterie läuft da Sie auf Ihrem Balkon keinen Elektroanschluss hat. Sie entschied sich letztendlich für diese Lichterkette, da diese u.a. auch einen Timer hat und bat mich diese dann zu bestellen (Da ich Prime nutze und Sie keine Versandkosten extra haben wollte).Die Lieferung erfolgte zur Freude meiner Kollegin gleich am Folgetag.Alles war gut eingepackt, im Karton waren neben der Lichterkette noch die Fernbedienung und eine mehrsprachige Anleitung.Die deutsche Fassung in der Anleitung war gut und verständlich übersetzt.An der Lichterkette war der Batteriekasten angeschlossen, auf dem auch die einzelnen Lichtstufen aufgedruckt waren. Alles machte einen gut verarbeiteten Eindruck.Nach dem Einlegen der 3 AA-Batterien brauchte man nur noch den Knopf drücken und schon fing die Lichterkette an zu leuchten (Wir testeten die Lichterkette vorab im Büro, damit diese dann nach bestandenem Test mit ruhigem Gewissen bei der Kollegin zu Hause final verlegt werden kann.)Hat man den Sicherungsstreifen aus der Fernbedienung gezogen, lässt sich die Lichterkette auch über diese steuern, obendrein hat man auch die Möglichkeit der Dimmung.Die warmweißen Led's geben ein schönes Licht ab, nichts blendet.Jetzt nach einigen Wochen Nutzung auf dem Balkon habe ich dann das finale Feedback erhalten. Die Lichterkette hat schon so einige Regentage überstanden ohne dass es Ausfälle gab. Dank der LED's ist der Stromverbrauch sehr gering, bisher mussten die Batterien noch nicht ausgetauscht werden (Sie nutzt die Lichterkette jetzt seit etwa 2 Wochen jeden Abend). Die Begeisterung ist nach wie vor groß.Das Fazit meiner Kollegin (und auch von mir durch die anfänglichen Tests) ist absolut positiv. Der Preis von knapp 15€ ist gerechtfertigt, das Ergebnis begeisternd, daher volle Punktzahl.
