I have a 2004 Honda Rancher that the original cheap plastic housing on the choke handle broke and rendered it useless. I bought this one for the price, at this point it works so so. I'm in Florida so the choke is not used much but it is required sometimes. This is not a quick replacement item, there is routing work and some assembly to be done. After I had the new one all assembled the engine did not want to run right and the idle was way off. I pulled everything apart again and reused some of the old parts. This is nothing like an old school choke, there is a plunger that goes into the carb and I reused that original and that resolved the running issues. You would be better off buying a real Honda part most likely. This still has the same cheap plastic housing that broke like the original but it did last 16 years.

I used this to replace the choke and plunger on my 2000 Honda trx350 fourtrax. Fit perfectly. So much cheaper than the OEM equivalent. I was hesitant seeing how cheap it was. I have now been using this cable/plunger for almost 3 months with no issues.

Giving this part a 1 star. The part had to be modified in order to fit. As you can see in my pictures, the steel head was too long for the hole. I had to grind a piece off the end in order for it to fit. At this point I've likely compromised the integrity of the part but I needed to get that part into the bike before the weekend.

The cable itself worked well, but i had to use the old pieces that go into the carb. The ones provided leave the choke on a bit so it doesn't run properly. It worked for what I needed, mainly the plastic nut that holds the cable onto the carb.
