Are these inserts? They're awdully floppy and would really need a stiffer outter shell to be able to effectively use it
What are the dimensions of the tub?
has anybody left this tub outdoors when temperature's below 32 degree? How does it hold? Does it crack?
Due to the smell of the recycled rubber. can i keep goldfish or pond fish in this container? i want to setup a indoor small pond for the kids. thanks

Farm use.

These are so thick and durable. Easy to clean and my pigs did not destroy these. You can use these for ducks, pigs, cows etc.Great product, perfect size. I will definitely be ordering more of these when I need them.

I knew what to expect

No more broken dishes from water freezing outside. I have large pans like this I used for poultry years back that smelled at first too. I needed some for outdoor cats because I don't have electricity outside and water dishes freeze in winter. I bought 2 dishes and the first thing I did was soak them in my sink with hot water, a tablespoon of dish soap and a couple cups of vinegar for several hours. Then I scrubbed them again with more dish soap and let them air out over night. It has gotten rid of most of the smell just from doing that. They are made from recycled tires so they are tough and you can beat the ice out them without them breaking. I keep changing them out everyday and wash and let the other air out in my house over night. If you do this enough eventually all the smell with go away though it's not that bad anymore. If you use them long enough the smell completely disappears. You could also soak and wash them and put them outside for a few week to air out if it bothers you that much. Just keep scrubbing them with dish soap and vinegar every so often. My cats drank from them the first day.

Sturdy

They have a strong smell initially, but that dissipates. We got two of the largest size for our 5 ducks. They are very easy to break ice out of and easy to clean, just rinse with some water. The ducks seem to be happy with them, we tilted them a little for the ducks to more easily get in and out.

Great pale for the money. Make sure you leave it outside to air out

First time buying something like this. This is def super durable. I like that it’s flexible. Everything I’ve used so far has cracked even before NY winters. Simply bc the sun is so strong here. The only complaint I have is the smell due to recycled rubber. It’s currently outside to air out. I’m using this to soak my gym weight plates to remove rust.

Exactly as advertised. Durable material but still flexible.

It smells like burnt rubber.

"Original review below"After more than a year of using this, the smell went away after about a month. We initially purchased these because our dogs tags were bumping her metal bowl and freaking her out, and this does not happen with these bowls. Now, we noticed on the one we use for water, the bowl is, "peeling" for want of a better word. Both bowls are washed on average about every two weeks with dawn and warm water. In the one we use for water however, we have noticed the bottom is coming up, kind of floating upwards. At first I thought it might be some type of mold, since we have well water. But it does not occur in any of the other dogs bowls, and we have 3 dogs all with their own bowls. Our dogs teeth are perfect, she has no diseases or anything that might get in the water and cause this, nor are the bowls outside where mosquitoes could lay eggs in the water. I scrubbed it out, and it went away. Now, after several weeks, its back. This bowl literally reeks of recycled truck tires. The smell when we opened the package was extremely over powering, and 24 hours later, soaked in dawn, scrubbed with Awesome and left in the sun for 8 hours, the smell is the same. Our dog will not go near it. We'll leave it outside for a few days but I don't think the smell is going to change.

Great winter watering pan for chickens.

I love these rubber pans. I use 6 of them as chicken waterers in my individual rooster pens in the winter time. They are positioned in a corner of the pen up on a block of wood to keep most of the straw and shavings out the water. When the water in a pan freezes I just bang the pan a couple of times on the fence beside the barn to pop out the block of ice. I never fear cracking, deforming, or otherwise damaging the pan. Another good thing is that the pans are heavy enough that the chickens aren't constantly knocking them over. The only down side with these pans is that sometimes the birds dangle their wattles or beards in the water which can lead to a bit of frost bite. Other watering options though fail on this point as well, or just aren't practical in an unheated barn in the winter.I also use 6 of these pans as feeders in my individual rooster pans. They are indestructible and easy to clean.
