Good, solid casserole dish.
Really heavy casserole dish and perfect for smaller stews etc for two people. Love the colour and the hotpot cooked in it was perfect. Turn the temperature of the oven down as the pot gets very hot and holds the heat so more economical cooking too. Perfect and delighted with this dish.

Excellent product and very good value for money.
I bought this mainly for breadmaking. My task to keep me sane during the past year of having to “shield” during lockdown. I am delighted that I did. An excellent product which does everything I hoped. I have only used it once for a beef casserole to portion and freeze, and it performed as expected. Easy to clean - I fill it with hot water with Oxyclean and Fairy liquid afternuse and let it sit for an hour or so and it cleans beautifully. The cream lining makes it easy to spot the areas which need a bit of an extra scrub. Now to the one slight drawback - it IS heavy. However, anything cast iron and with those dimensions, was always going to be heavy. Definitely no reason to withhold a star in the rating. I am 77 with back problems and I can still handle it safely for the time being. I am actually intending to buy the smaller version also as I think it would be a better size for cooking meat and soup dishes as I am only cooking for one now.

Very nearly 5 star
Hard to review something I have only had a couple of days and used once but views so far are:- Great for baking sourdough bread. (the reason a bought it) Yes, it's heavy but what do you expect? It is cast iron. Nice and easy to clean. Just give it a soak and it washes up easy. The only reason I deducted a star is because it arrived chipped and this was NOT down to the postage. Due to the location of the chip it is obvious this was chipped prior to manufacture packaging.

Good looking, works and V good value
These are UK made, which is nice, and very well priced, considering. They look a bit more modern than the French type of thing, which I like and the proportions are really good. Came quickly and well packed. What's not to like?

High quality, great value for money.
High quality item made in the UK and superb value for money. Great for casseroles or baking. Lid can be used as a separate roasting dish if you need. As good as, or better than, the much higher priced brands. I'm so pleased with this, I bought two more items from the range!

Great for bread
This is a decent size for 600g flour dough. It has a good depth and the lid is large enough to keep the dough and some ice. Make your artisan bread at home

Very good dish.
Being cast iron this dish is super heavy. I bought it primarily to make sourdough bread in and I've made both normal and sourdough and It doesnt disappoint. It makes the bread rise better and keep its moisture. Its relatively easy to clean, even when the bread gets stuck to the bottom- warm.water with a bit of dishwasher left overnight and it wipes clean. Would definitely recommend the investment.

Absolutely first class
This "Enamel Cast Iron Round Casserole Dish with Lid" was not my first choice but the Dutch Oven I wanted was unavailable. I am so glad I found this as it is absolutely first class as a Dutch Oven, it's not just for cooking casseroles. It also cost a fraction of what my original choice cost and, it's made in the UK! I am really pleased with the results of my Sourdough bread. I have used the lid to cook pancakes too. A very versatile kitchen utensil. It is also induction hob compatible. What's not to like? I cannot comment on durability as I've only had it a few days, but with the right care I'm hopeful I will get many years of use. Highly recommend.
