This program is terribleDont wast your time or money

I am not a big fan. First, I was surprised that in todays software world there is still programs that need to be loaded via CD. Most software I use and encounter these days is web based so this was like going backwards in time. Second, I found this program not very user friendly when compared to other forms of video editing I use or have used in the past. I would love to give an opinion about the end results for this program, but sadly I lost patience with it before we got that far and gave up. I would strongly recommend using something more up to date and user friendly.

After installing the media from the yellow box (UPC 88826200798 Copyright 2017), the application is running as 2017 version. But the product title on Amazon specifically stated the product name as "Nero Video Premium 3 2018". It that normal?

Product was new in box great program for editing

I did not pay much attention when ordering this. It only comes as a DVD. Most newer computers don’t have a DVD drive. I attempted to try to locate a way to download the software from manufactures website. I could not find a way to get the software. There is nothing in the package indicating how to download the software if you don’t have a drive to load it. Do not order unless you have a physical dvd drive in your computer. All software should have a way to deliver by download!

Locked up my Office program. Had to uninstall

I am a Nero Video Editor Fan.I've used Nero for all the years Nero has been in business.I've edited tons of video with Nero products.but somewhere along the way, this went sideways.First I looked for Microsoft 11 and it was that in the promo.Then I looked on the box. It's not on the box and in fact,if copyright makes a difference, this version is pre 2020.Perhaps I'm wrong.Then I opened up anyway and found a DVD.I love DVD's. The problem is I don't have a laptop thatuses DVD's anymore and my expectation of a USBwas thwarted. I went back to the promo and USBwas not mentioned. This aspect was on me.I could have bought a DVD external player but Ichose not to.For the user with a DVD external player andMicrosoft 10 or earlier, this is probably a decentpick up.For me it didn't work out this time. This doesn'tmake Nero get a thumbs down but mixingsoftware like this with Microsoft 11 which canbe tricky in alot of ways, is not likely greatstrategy.And the packaging OR the advertising needs tobe shifted.

This appears to be an outdated version of this video editor, as the software itself informed me when I clicked on the upgrade button in the control panel.I found the working of the English in the licensing agreement to be a bit strange, and I could not find any instructions for using the software that did not require me to download an app to my phone.If you are looking to buy this software I would recommend looking for the most recent edition and skipping this version.
