I love this product so much! It looks just like the picture! It is sooo beautiful!! I’m obsessed with it. I got the smaller size, since my bedroom is on the smaller side. But it’s still very big, it covered one complete wall in my room. It came in 4 rectangular pieces, you just peel the back off slowly and put it on a little at a time. It sounds tricky, but it’s pretty easy and fun to do, it only took me about 30 mins to put up and it looks so amazing, I love it. It makes you feel like you are at the beach! So nice

This mural is perfect for my beach themed craft/office/she cave. It was very easy to put up by myself. My measurements were off so I ordered the smaller one. It does not cover my entire wall but it looks great. I used 3 out of the 4 panels to fit my space. My walls are painted peach and the colors are peach/blue

I personally love it. I get alot of compliments. I had to overlap slightly to match up and trim a lil of the bottom, but it was extremely easy.

Ok SO: You might see these photos and think, wow, that looks amazing! And indeed, the mural CAN look amazing. But it DOES have some major design flaws.The instructions for this mural say that each piece needs to overlap the other piece by about 1 inch. HOWEVER -- if you create this overlap, then you'll have the ugly and visible dark lines that you'll see in a lot of other reviewer's photos.The mural looks a LOT better if you DO NOT create this overlap. However, by not doing this, it won't match up perfectly (see attached images). You'll also have to be very meticulous about lining up the panels so that you don't have gaps between them.It's not that easy if you're a perfectionist: it took my husband a good 1.5-2 hours or so to get it up perfectly (measuring the wall, measuring where the panels will go, sticking them and ensuring the air bubbles get out, lining them up, etc.)You can see in the close-up photos that if you do not overlap the panels, you'll have about an inch of duplicate image. From a distance, it isn't very noticeable. But if you are a perfectionist, this may bother you.The other thing that bothers me slightly is the fact that the photo is not super crispy/clear when you look at it closely, probably because it's so blown up. But once again: from a distance, it looks great. So yes -- I am keeping it. It creates a nice ambience in my guest room. But it's definitely not perfect.

This turned out beautifully AFTER we tried it the wrong way and learned a couple things by trial and error. The first two hours of trying to install was frustrating because tiny wrinkles appeared often and it seemed nothing we tried would get it to lay smoothly. We were using small towels to smooth it without success. The next day I decided a wallpaper smoothing tool might help. I had on hand a good quality bathroom squeegee about 8 inches wide, and it worked beautifully. I was shocked at how much easier it was with the proper tool. No little wrinkles and we installed the remaining panels without stress.Some things to note: it is easy to peel it off the wall and reposition small sections if needed. The plastic wallpaper is decent quality but very thin, So the wall color behind the sticker will slightly affect the shade of the finished product. Make sure the wall is not different colors before hanging the mural or it will show. We covered a light blue wall, and went so far as to paint blue over the white spackle used to fill in nail holes, so that the little white contrasting patches would not show through. Some parts of the wallpaper pattern have enough variation that you wouldn’t notice these things, but some parts are solid and you want to be aware before you hang the wallpaper. Overall, I didn’t mind the thinness of the product once I figured out how to smooth it out with the right tool.The overlap between sections will be somewhat noticeable, but I don’t feel it detracts.Some people have complained about the image not being super detailed, But when you look at the whole wall, it is not an issue. If I’m used to a high resolution monitor, I will be disappointed if I can’t see specific details in the people or the palm trees, but really that’s not what I was hanging it for anyway. They are just silhouettes in the distance and the overall picture is absolutely beautiful.After the first section is hung, as you are hanging the next section, position the horizon line 1st, and use painters tape to secure it in place on the wall before you peel any of the backing off. That way you make sure the parts that have to be lined up precisely are where they need to be. Then, with the painters tape holding it in place, start at the top and peel the first few inches and continue on down, hanging as instructed. The painters tape will come off as you work your way down and meanwhile it will keep the precise parts of the image where they need to be lined up.Finally, doors and walls are not always perfectly level, so use a level to draw a straight vertical line as a guide for your first panel. For example, if you are working left to right, draw the guide line where you want the right hand side of the panel to line up. You might have to trim a slight amount where it meets the door or the wall on the left side, but at least that way it will be hanging straight up and down.

Too thin. When you hang it there is about a 1/2” overlap. The paper is thin and apparently translucent. Pretty picture but all you see is the overlap lines. Ended up pulling it all down because it looked cheesy. Would have paid more for thicker opaque paper to have the nice mural without lines.

The picture is so great love this item would definitely recommend this to anybody easy to put on
