REESE'S Peanut Butter Cups, Halloween Candy, Dark Chocolate Candy, 1.5 Ounce (Pack of 24)

I ordered a box of these on a whim when they were a Goldbox special a few days ago. The UPS guy delivered them an hour ago and I just got done eating 2 perfect pieces of perfection! The dark chocolate is excellent- a perfect complement to the peanut butter filling. Not too sweet, but not bitter or waxy like so many mass market dark chocolates can be. These are delicious and a must have if you favor the dark side like I do! Milk chocolate tends to be too sickly sweet for me although I enjoyed having a standard PBC on occasion. Now I fear I am spoiled forever and will no longer settle for the milk chocolate pbc. The biggest problem I face now is how to be an adult and not eat multiple packs at one sitting. I only pray Amazon keeps carrying these! AS IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO LOCATE GOOD 'DARK CHOCOLATE" CANDIES IN THE AREA WE LIVE, I WAS VERY PLEASED TO BE ABLE TO ORDER AND HAVE DELIVERED.I opened the items the day they arrived and although many were a bit melted, the candy is exceptional. Ordered for Halloween (and some for myself) but sad to say - they are gone already. We have enjoyed and will be reordering in the future.

Dark chocolate is the best tasting Reese’s cup! They are delicious

My young granddaughter just finished oral immunotherapy for peanut allergies and now she can eat peanuts. She had her first Reese's peanut butter cup on her last day, her graduation day, she swooned. I found out later they came in DARK chocolate, and we all love dark vs milk chocolate, so this was a no brainer. It came today and it is just right. I love the soft creamy bite you get. I had previously purchased buckeyes in dark chocolate which basically are a peanut creamy center like this, but shaped like a truffle. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't the same thing I was hoping for. The top of the 'buckeye' has a harder piece of lighter chocolate "the eye" and I always removed it bc I like the softer bite you get from Reese's. It's a personal preference, but that's how all our food preferences are. And this one is mine. I can't wait to share it with my granddaughter when I see her this weekend. She will like these even more now!

I like these, and I think they might be slightly better than the mini's. However, it's hard for me recall anything specific about how they compare to their tinier counterparts because I bought them at the same time as  Unreal Candy Dark Chocolate Individually Wrapped Peanut Butter Cups Pack of 6 .I sought out the regular-sized dark cups because I was hoping for a greater peanut butter-to-chocolate ratio. Again, the jury's out because my mind was wiped by the Unreal chocolates. Seriously, they have real peanut butter inside and no other peanut butter cups do. The Reese's, Justin's and all other cups I've tried have that semi-hard peanut butter block inside; whereas the Unreal dark chocolate cups have creamy butter inside. It oozes out of the cup after you've bitten into the middle. I didn't know this could be a thing, but it is. A thing.Excluding Unreal, the dark Reese's cups are my second favorite because they are saltier than the "fancy" cups like Justin's. Trader Joe's minis have a lower peanut butter to chocolate ratio, and, for me, Justin's are too sweet. I vaguely recall these big cups tasting a bit too sweet in comparison to the minis. And I think they melted a little too quickly too, which seems to make them taste sweeter. If ever I do buy Reese's again (and I can't imagine why I would), I'd probably just by the minis. I can find them in the store around the corner, and I've never seen the regular-sized dark Reese's in a real-world store.Order of preference:1.  Unreal Candy Dark Chocolate Individually Wrapped Peanut Butter Cups Pack of 6  - creamy peanut butter inside; lower sugar to total calories ratio; good salt ratio; good peanut butter to chocolate ratio; good, smooth dark chocolate2. Reese's dark mini's - hard peanut butter; good salt ratio; good peanut butter to chocolate ratio; chocolate is ok3. Justin's - hard peanut butter; too sweet (not enough salt); not enough peanut butter; good, pasty chocolate-3 Justin's mini - Justin's but worse because of lower peanut butter to chocolate ratio-4. Trader Joe's - hard peanut butter; not enough salt; not enough peanut butter; chocolate is ok-ish-8. Theo dark chocolate cups - ..no...I still really like Reese's, but I've now found a candy I love.

They are Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, which everybody loves, but with dark chocolate. Do you like dark chocolate? Do you like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups? Then you will love them with dark chocolate because as any real chocolate lover knows, dark chocolate is more chocolatey which makes these very creamy, peanut buttery, dark chocolate covered cups of melt-in-your-mouth goodness worth putting in your mouth and savoring as long as you can.

Lurking in the shadows of the Hershey's kingdom... fomenting a dark, sweet & salty revolution and spreading their rich vision of deliciousness across the land - these are off the heezy fo' sheezy. Even though I bought a whole box I still feel possessive of them and tend to lash out viciously at anybody who even looks in their direction. Some may feel that darker chocolate does not work as well as milk chocolate for a peanut butter cup. They would be wrong. Some may argue melting points, ratios, sugar/fat content and the like, but they can kindly shut it - for this is the ultimate in mass produced chocolate/peanut butter cups.You're not allowed to order any... AT ALL because I can't spare a single cup. Not one. They're all mine. Nothing to see here. Move along. Thank you! Go back to your ongoing, intermittent perusal of the internet. Yes, Virginia you can't have one. It's not you, it's the peanut butter cup. The dark chocolate's in the mail and I promise not to melt in your mouth. I think I'll have another one.

Chocolates had melted so bad there were nothing but piles of mush with the paper inside you could not even freeze them to pull the paper apart they were not able to be saved at all we're a complete throwout.
