Fit perfectly for what I needed. Had to make a wooden cap for the top and modify some threaded rod to secure it to the dust collector but it works great. The rubber seal on the one end mated up perfectly to the DC. Much cheaper than the cannister kit from Jet!

Adding this filter was a huge upgrade to my 2 stage dust collector. The filter has a great rating and still allows a lot of air to be pushed through it. This is a must have for anyone in a wood shop.

The filter is very sturdy with metal mesh protecting the media inside and out. I replaced the bag filter on my old 1 HP Delta dust collector which is a little smaller in diameter than most 2 HP collectors and it works very well. It comes with a ring seal on one end and the reason for a star deduction is that wish there was a seal on both ends. Other than that, this is an excellent way upgrade and old dust collector for much less than the name brand filters.

At a 1/3 to 50% less in price than the other brand it's still 15 micron. Does a good job? Should have had a second seal, but oh well. Weather stripping took care of that no more dust. Shine a really, really bright light up the side of a bag filter, you can see the dust. Tried it on this one, nothing 0. Rebuilt, the entire system much better suction unit breathes better, no dust.If you're on the fence about this filter versus the other one, go ahead and pull the trigger on this one. It'll do the job just as well and at a 1/3 to 50% less money.PS by yourself, a gamma seal bucket lid attachment that screws on and off. Cut it out tons of videos on how to do it YouTube. It works wonderful 30 to 40 PSI air, let it set for at least 20 minutes to let that fine dust settle unscrew the bucket. Dump that ultra fine dust somewhere outside? Screw it back on before you blow it with air. If you wish to check it, you won't find hardly any dust in the bucket. It's all in the filter, but that's the ultra fine dust. This way you can clean the filter. And never remove it, just a tip.

I had a rudimentary bag filter setup for my very small shop and had a serious dust problem. Upgrading to a diy setup with this filter has made a significant difference.

Item arrived on time. It came in an intact box, just wrapped in a small bubble wrap. IMO the damage happened during shipment (I want to think this wouldn't make it out out of quality control). Top part was slightly smashed causing inner and outer mesh to bend outwards. Also caused top surface not being flat. I wanted my project to be finished on time some didn't go through the trouble of replacing the item and straighten the mesh walls by clamps.Mesh walls and top/bottom metal parts are pretty rigid. Connected it to my 2hp HF dust collector and works great. Filters all the fine dust and improves the dust collector suction by letting the air out easier than the original fabric bag that it comes with. I knock down a star because of the packaging and damaged item but maybe it's just my luck. I would recommend this item, protect your lungs!
