This is my second Casio. I own other watches, some worth hundreds, some worth thousands, and I'm always blown away at what Casio is able to provide for the! Incredible comfort, visibility, quality and function. The price and availability is as much a feature as anything else. I don't care if it scratches, breaks, is ripped off my wrist, I can get another tomorrow! Case dimensions wear smaller than the measurements. On my 8 inch wrist I would have guessed it was 39mm case. Bezel is a bi-directional pressure fit, no clicks but holds its position. Lume is solid, no lume on the day/date but that's expected. Case itself is plastic while the band is metal though the material difference is not obvious at all. Clasp does not have a safety latch but it does have a mechanical release, which I prefer. Only thing to note is, because the band is metal and the case is plastic, it has a bit of a Swatch weight to it. What I mean by that is the watch feels lighter than the band. I don't mind this but some people like to have a weight to their wears. If that's you, then you probably want to find a different model.

I wanted a watch that kept time accurately, was easy to read but didn’t cost a fortune. This watch was three for three. It I am outside everyday. The weather doesn’t seem to bother this watch at all. I had no trouble adjusting the band to fit my wrist. I really like the stainless steel band. The resin bands on my past watches just don’t hold up like this one does. It looks good and I can wear it anywhere. The rotating bezel is a plus. I have used it as a timer. I keep time on the 24 hour clock and like that the inner dial shows the 24 hour time. Overall a good reliable watch for a good price.

These use to be all metal, but now the face housing is plastic. Still a great quality watch internally, but the plastic nicks easily. Makes me wonder if the watch face is plastic instead of glass. Not sure I'll buy again, but if you're looking for an inexpensive watch that works well and will hold up against water, this would be a good choice.

Needed a new watch because the old one was old and starting to fall apart. Good stainless steel band with a black face compliments your wardrobe.

I am by no means an expert on watches so take this with a grain of salt. However you'll notice a couple of these things opening this box. I definitely recommend this if you need stainless peeking out of your sleeve, or need a decent watch for on a job site. I got this for going into construction sites where my much larger Armitron's aren't as practical. If you're gonna be daily wearing this watch I would honestly recommend spending a little more and getting the quality and feel you want. 1 THING TO NOTE THIS WATCH WILL NOT LAY FLAT. The way the band linking works it will get no flatter than an oval or a half oval if you go for the lollipop position. **** Note, for this I'm using the Armitron AS32W, the cheapest stainless watch I own (and my daily wearing battle tank of a watch for the past 5 years) as a direct reference for value. **** Packaging .5/2: Nitpick since its only ever used before you get the watch. But it feels cheap, like very cheap...Even the cheapest <$50 Armitron watch I bought came in a thick embossed cardboard display box secured around a pillow. This comes loosely secured to a flimsy plastic watch stand with a rubber band. Weight 3/5: It feels really light weight. Like there is nothing on your arm. It may not be but it feels about half the weight of my Armitron AS32W, which has a much larger face and housing. So take that as either its super light weight and minimal or it feels cheap if someone were to hold it. *Personally I love a heavy watch, and lightweight watches just don't feel quite right to me. Size 5/5: It has a great profile on your wrist, love the bezeling and the contrast in color. I think it's a great band width to face width ratio. I needed to remove 2 or maybe 3 links i cant quite recall but wrist sizing should not be an issue with this. Housing/Face 4/5: The digits are very distinguishable and easily readable. The glass feels solid. The case is shiny, the fake rivet dents don't do anything for quality but definitely fill in around nicely. The hands do look fairly ornate and decorative for a simple sporty watch. Band 2/5: The stainless steel band has a good sheen to it. The band is very quirky and I will definitely end up replacing it eventually. The link pins are a different and look like they will take some effort to remove links. These links are also not bendable. It will retain a minimum oval shape and will not go flatter. It will not lay flat on my counter.

Band is extremely lightweight but still strong. The only lacking portion of the design is the very plastic ring dial. It looks surprisingly good with the silver bracelet against the watch face. This is my daily “non fancy” watch; and when I say daily I mean it: Shower, yard work, working on the car, in the field (Army), etc… It has yet to fog up or come apart. It’s a watch that you can feel ok scratching up while establishing dominance over the smart watch wearing dilettantes.

Excellent watch. If you can’t own a rolex, you can rock this.
