Not as calming as I'd hoped. I wanted something to sooth the brain, but parts of this are little rougher [tones and instruments (or sounds of them)] than I need to calm myself and focus.

Wonderful
As promised, this lovely music seems to stir my mind enough to lift it to a better level of consciousness while I am working.

Distracting humm.
This could be good. Unfortunately, there is an annoying hum on most of it. I have bought both the mp3 and CD of this, and it is present on both. I find it hard to believe it is intentional or that it is inaudible to the average person. Pretty sure I do not have superpower hearing! The hum is so distracting as to make this utterly useless for concentration.

Live and Learn!
It's a gift so the plastic is still on it. This CD was sent from Japan, that's because I wasn't paying enough attention when ordering it. It took forever to arrive and the CD packaging is dreadful, not the usual Monroe Products hard plastic case but a flimsy paper one that's sealed in transparent wrap. It looks really cheap. If I didn't know the beautiful quality of the Monroe Products so well, I would be returning this. I bought it for my sister and I'll just have to give it to her with an extra hard plastic case to put it in once she opens it. Hopefully the quality of the disc is as expected. Pay attention when ordering!
