Not vintage looking
The pattern is fine. But in the pic here it looks like a brass color with a dark patina. Item is nothing like that. It is very copper orange and no type of patina. Looks gaudy.

DID NOT COME. Sad. Looked cool.
The pen holder (or for me, would have been quill holder) I ordered never came. I was very disappointed. I was not refunded the couple bucks I spent on this, which made the whole experience even worse. Really sad about this. Still want it but it wasn't worth 6.99 in the first place probably, so definitely not spending 7.99 now for something that never arrived in the first place. SAD.

the base is hollow
Good item, just be forewarned the base is hollow, so it will need something else to hold it if on any inclined podium. Great quality otherwise.

Looks nicer than its price would indicate
Looks nice on desk. Does the job of holding the fountain pen. Not expensive but you would not know that unless you picked it up.
