2 x NOVKIT Digital Security Timer Plug Socket Programmable Switch Timer with 10 ON-Off Programs and Random Mode for Home and Indoor (230V, 13A, 2900W)

Very pleased with these timers. The most significant ‘plus’ is the large, easy to read setting screen. This does of course mean that the timers are quite large compared to others, but where the larger screen is important, you can’t have it both ways. The timer is straight forward to use where you just step through as many ‘on-and-offs’ as you wish to set within a day. The week setting has various preset configurations (e.g. every day, Monday to Friday, every other day, etc.) which you can step through until the desired one is set. Otherwise, it has the usual operating functions, as any other (auto, on, etc.). Good, easy to use timers.

I used it for more than a month and found it is reliable and the timer is accurate. Being an electronic device (in contrast to those using tabs to set the timer), it is much more flexible. The longest schedule cycle is 1 week rather than 24 hours. The timer can be set to minute accuracy rather than 15-minute. It is also more easier to do the setting. It is done with a few buttons and a LED display, rather than a ring of super-tiny tabs. Less mechanical parts also means, in my opinion, more durable and reliable. It all come with a catch, of course: It is pricier, but I think it worth the money.

These NOVKIT Digital Security Timer Plug Socket Programmable Switch Timer are super easy to set up and can be done intuitively without reference to the easy to follow instructions. With 10 on/off settings there is more than enough to cover my needs. Display is large and super clear (I can even read it without my glasses!) The only negative for me is that I use them to re-charge gadgets at night on cheaper economy 7 electric tariff and they normally sit on my bedside table. However, there is a small green "on" light that is there to warn you that the plug is active and this light, though small, is ridiculously bright in a dark bedroom so much so that if I wake I cannot get back to sleep as the room is awash with a green glow. I have had to put a small piece of black duck tape over the light so I can sleep with them on.

Good basic easy to use security timer sockets

I use this for my gargoyle geckos lights and it works perfectly. A bit annoying to set up at first but it’s worth it and is really handy to have.

Good for switching on appliances. Easy to set up.

Seems to work fine. Easy to set up. However I don't believe they were new as I found a small screwdriver in the package used to activate the reset button. Amazon seem to be playing games these days it's the second packaged item I have found been opened. 3 stars due to my purchase findings.

User friendly and clear display. Perfect for what I needed, but one stopped working after 3 weeks. Returned for refund, but bought another identical set to replace them. I'll see if these do better before amending this review.
