Trying to determine how much room is needed for target practice.** A: No more than 20 yards. They are effective really within 10 yards. **Q: How do adjust the draw weight? Says 6-13.5, but it is definitely hard for my small kiddos. Was hoping to set it up closer to 6lbs, but not in manual** A: This bow is not adjustable. The description is somewhat misleading. The weight and draw length numbers are merely possible ranges throughout the draw cycle. If your kid has the shortest draw length they will simply release the arrow when they reach that length and it will be at the minimum weight listed, but they will not reach the let off point. This bow should technically be listed as a 13.5 pound bow with a 24 inch draw weight. **Q: Can you put sights on this bow?** A: This bow isn't really made to have a sight put on it. ## Frequently Bought Together - Bear Archery Apprentice Bow Set. - Elong Fiberglass Arrows Archery 24 26 28 30Inch Target Shooting Practice Safetyglass Recurve Bows Suitable for Youth Children Woman Beginner - Bear Archery Brave Bow Set for Youth, Recommended Ages 8-12, Right Handed, Continuous Draw Weight Up to 25 lb., Continuous Draw Length Up to 19.5-inches --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://jordan.desertcart.com/products/174957148-apprentice-bow-set](https://jordan.desertcart.com/products/174957148-apprentice-bow-set) --- *Product available on Desertcart Jordan* *Store origin: JO* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
