Works great, I'm learning to do wood quilt blocks for inside and outside decoration. You can do small blocks or very large ones. It's easy to use, and nice and sturdy. It would be easy for fabric also but perfect for a hard surface to draw patterns.

I love everything about the Omnigrid line of rulers. They are nice and thick and heavy duty and they make cutting fabric so much easier. I don't have to worry about the rotary cutter jumping the ruler like I had to when I only had regular rulers, which dulled my rotary blades quickly. I also love all of the markings, grid lines and measurements, and being able to see through them is perfect.Back in the day, we had to cut our fabric and patterns with scissors. My how times have changed. These rulers coupled with a rotary cutter and a cutting mat are definitely the way to go nowadays. With my arthritic hands, I'd never be able to do near as much if I still had to do it the old way. I love these rulers. They are well worth the money and they make things so much faster and easier.

I waffled and debated and hmmmed and hawwwed over these or the more expensive ones at my local shop. I am so glad this was my choice.A multipack is great- I paid for these what ONE costs at hobby lobby. And it comes in super handy to have smaller sizes when subcutting- a LOT less wrestling with my longer ruler.Also they grip very nicely- I did buy grips but have not needed them yet, though I expect to eventually over time with use. I was still impressed with the grip these had out of the package as I was expecting them to slip much more easily.I will say the yellow marks can be harder to read on yellow fabric in the same tone but really I don't use that color terribly often and there are black ticks too so it's not impossible.Overall very nice rulers at a very nice price...which matters. Quilting is EXPENSIVE. These take some of the sting out of that!

Great sizes in rulers, wrapped with care.

These sizes are excellent for blocks less than 12 inches in size. They are easy to use for many different quilting projects.

Great for quilting

I thought I had lost my 12.5 square, so ordered a new set. Found the other one and gave one to my sister. It works great on 100% cotton fabric for quilts. Just make sure your bottom surface under the fabric is flat. Bumpy fabrics can be a little difficult to get a straight line around the square. Happy Crafting!
