This is a nice thin blanket that is buttery soft.

Theses are great for protecting my sofa. My dogs like to rub against the couch to be petted. I live in an area that has red dirt. I wash the throws often. The throw is very light weight, I'm not using it for warmth. I think it's great for summer.

Nice thickness, very soft on both sides, plenty warm for a lightweight throw. It did shed significantly in the wash. Most throws that I buy do not shed, especially ones with a smooth texture. But since I overall like it, I'm giving it a good review unless it keeps on shedding, in which case I may be back to revise.I appreciate the reviews that described the color and that it's not what is unusually called coral. I wanted something closer to the actual picture, so I checked the reviews and found that it does indeed have more red tones. I saw pink, rose, raspberry, mauve, and all except mauve are really much more accurate than coral, and even mauve is more correct than coral except that items label mauve often have more blue undertones in them. But this throw color is definitely not in the orange/apricot family.
