Vintage Buffalo Leather Backpack Multi Pockets Travel Bag for Men/Women

I do leather work and was hesitant to buy this because I can make similar items. However, my son wanted this for college, so I bought it for him as one of his gifts. I can say that for the price, this is an excellent bag. I did notice some internal seams where the sewing got off track and I've fixed those. I don't think it would cause big problems down the road but I like things to look proper. There is no way I could have made this bag for the price, with the cost of materials alone, much less the time. It is a substantial bag with lots of compartments.

I bought this for several reasons. It is amazing of course for travel ( better than a suitcase in my opinion ) ,Great for Backpacking there are so many different size pockets, one at the very top for pens, pencils etc. there is so much room in it, I use it for my Art Supplies, Laptop, iPad. I’ve used it when I have had to be hospitalized due to a chronic illness. I can’t wait until I wear it in a little bit, I like that beat up look...like a Bomber Jacket. It is well worth the price, you will have it forever. It is very comfortable on your back. Remember though this is a bigger Backpack. It is a gorgeous rich brown color. I am very happy I bought this.

I've had it for about a month and it still looks great with barley any change from original appearance. It will cut a hair right down the middle

I couldn't believe I e of the straps ripped no even a week using the bag. My husband care the bag from the house to the car and car to the office.

This is my 2nd review after owning this leather backpack for a few weeks. I have modified the pack based on several reviews that I read. The one issue is with the way the shoulder straps are attached. Some people reported that the top stitching came loose. I took my pack to a shoe repair place and had them sew in extra stitches to better secure the straps. They are now solid. Also, the straps are very narrow and can dig into shoulders if the bag is fully loaded. To solve this issue, I purchased matching leather shoulder pads. I also treated the entire bag with Mink Oil to waterproof and soften the buffalo leather. My pack is now ready for one bag travel.
