The color says chocolate but its more purple
The color is not at all what I thought it would be. There is more purple in it than brown. I bought it to line my lips with another light toffee colored lipstick but I can’t because of the purple in it. It looks like it would go on smooth and stay longer than most lipsticks but I can’t wear it. If you like dark purple then you will love this lipstick. Big waste of money for me.

Perfect Plum Lipstick
Great lipstick, perfect slim size. Don't know why they call it chocolate, it is a lovely plum violet color. Not sure yet if it lasts but either way, its a winner! Its not easy to find a good purple/violet that doesn't look garish (although sometimes you might want that). I like this one a lot and will get more since it may go out of stock...

So disappointed! Not worth even the half-price sale.
First, I bought 2 lipsticks from the same site, just different colors but didn’t realize they were from different vendors. They were both on sale but one is a free refund, the other is more complicated and actually not worth returning it for the price I paid. Secondly, the shades are not well represented. And lastly, I realize they are Matte consistently but both tubes are so dry, almost chalk like and very hard to apply and with one of the tubes, a quarter of an inch broke off the first time I tried to use. I actually thought I could not go wrong with L’Oreal products but I was wrong!

The colour I bought is "Hot Apricot", having read it had peachy (as in apricot) tones. It is a deep pink! Some people describe it as "coral". Why don't they call it "Hot Coral" instead of "Hot Apricot"? It's nothing like any apricot I've ever seen. I'm extremely disappointed, I can't wear pink or red colours and I thought I'd found an peachy/pale orange coloured lipstick. I'll have to throw it out - it's unwearable for me.
