ITS A MUST HAVE
As someone who spends hours working on intricate tasks like jewellery making, electronics repair, or even reading fine print, finding the right magnification tool is crucial. Recently, I acquired the LED Head Magnifier, and it has truly changed the way I approach detailed work. Here's my in-depth review of this handy device. Design & Build Quality: The first thing that struck me about the LED Head Magnifier is its thoughtful design, it remains comfortable during long periods. The magnifier itself is lightweight, which is essential for extended wear. Magnification: The primary reason for getting this tool was, of course, its magnification capabilities. The LED Head Magnifier comes with multiple lenses, ranging from 1.5x to 3.5x magnification. These lenses are easily interchangeable, allowing me to switch between magnifications depending on the task at hand. Whether I'm soldering tiny components on a circuit board or examining gemstones for imperfections, the clarity and magnification provided are exceptional. LED Lights: One of the standout features of this magnifier is its LED lights. Positioned around the lenses, these lights provide bright, focused illumination exactly where it's needed. This is invaluable when working in dimly lit areas or when dealing with small, intricate details. The lights are adjustable, allowing me to control the intensity based on the environment. Versatility: I appreciate how versatile the LED Head Magnifier is. It's not just for professionals; hobbyists, crafters, and DIY enthusiasts can benefit greatly from its use. Whether you're into model building, sewing, or stamp collecting, this magnifier offers the precision and clarity needed for detailed work. Ease of Use: Another aspect worth mentioning is the ease of use. The magnifier is straightforward to set up, with clear instructions for attaching and swapping lenses. The adjustable headband ensures a secure fit, and once in place, I can work hands-free, which is incredibly convenient. Value for Money: Considering the quality of construction, the range of magnification options, and the added LED lights, I find the LED Head Magnifier to be an excellent value for the price. It's an investment that enhances the quality of my work and reduces eye strain during long periods of focus. Final Thoughts: In conclusion, the LED Head Magnifier has become an indispensable tool in my workspace. Its comfortable design, exceptional magnification capabilities, bright LED lights, and ease of use make it a standout product in the market. Whether you're a professional in need of precise magnification or a hobbyist looking to elevate your crafting game, I highly recommend giving this magnifier a try. It's a small tool that makes a big difference. If you're in the market for a reliable, versatile, and effective head magnifier, look no further than the LED Head Magnifier. It's a game-changer for anyone working on intricate tasks that demand precision and clarity.

Brings things sharply into focus.
Excellent magnification, a wee bit fiddly to get them on before your glasses but I expect this will be easier with practice and usage. I am using the legs on option so maybe the headband will make that a bit easier.? so far i like the legs but I have to agree with some other reviews in that the nose pad can be a bit uncomfortable, I'll still be using this though and will try and come up with a solution to improve the nose pads, for the moment I find lifting the glasses up from the bridge of the nose gives a bit relief. Wow for the magnifying aspect, clear acrylic lenses, detail is brilliant, easy to exchange as they simply slip into the flexible angle clip, the LED lighting is very useful, (I charged them fully before using in earnest but they come with a bit of charge), again just support with the free hand and its no problem to swap in or out, switch between brightness etc ; you just have to angle it upward and simply pull whilst holding the clip steady with your other hand then insert your next choice of magnifying lens. Love that they are provided in a secure wee acrylic box which is designed to hold the lenses apart- No scratching against other ones + lens cloth provided too. I was wowed by the detail, made sewing a breeze, easily much better than my squinting efforts ,who knew velcro was made up from such tiny, tiny loops? LOL. I for one am very happy with these, great for multiple jobs, ever so slightly uncomfortable but not too heavy. 100% definitely fit for purpose, sewing, digging out an ingrown toenail ( not mine) with brilliant close up attention to detail, I love looking at things in detail, a captured beastie, a feather , I won't rabble on you'll find them very functional and fit for purpose. I purchased after an offer pinged up so value for money definitely. Arrived in its own storage box( I like to keep things in their original box (which has internal shaping) to store them without damaging them. It is not too bulky, has a bit of weight but is reasonably comfortable to wear over prolonged times, LED lighting 2 brightness choices which lasts and is very helpful , and multiple choice of lenses ,legs or headband. 10/10

Decent magnifier for short periods
The variety of lenses is pretty useful; they have different magnification but all focus fairly close-up. It's easy to adjust the angle and distance of the lens thanks to the articulation in the lens arm. Swapping lenses is dead easy, just pull it out and pop another one in. The box for the lenses is really nice to have and keeps them from invariably getting left on the workbench and scratched up. The elastic headband is a nice option to have and I find it comfier than the "glasses frame" style. The front isn't super lightweight, and while the nose pieces are adjustable (they just bend), you do notice the weight after a while. It's certainly OK for occasional use for an hour or so, but I wouldn't want it on much longer without a decent break, or particularly frequently. I've not had to rely on the LED light yet. It doesn't seem to be super bright, but it does have two levels and being USB rechargeable is great.

This device meets, even excels, requirement.
Cards on table; YOCTOSUN is a company that I am not familiar with and I was concerned that the LED Head Magnifier might be a cheap 'knock off' of another product. I went ahead with purchase after reading reviews and have not been disapointed. The magnifier, straight out of the box, reeks of quality. The device, on the whole, appears very strongly constructed. I'll start with the 'lenses' that appear to be very tough and magnify very well - although I do not have the specialist equipment to varify each lens as to magnification I can say each one 'steps up' magnification from previous very well. The lenses are very clear and are very easy to 'swap out'. On to the headset! There are two ways to wear the set; like normal glasses or with the clip on elasticated strap. For me the strap is entire optionl! I have tried the strap and it is very comfortable in use but the fitted 'arms' are really comfy and well fitted for me and I prefer them. The only minus concerning the strap and arms is actually a plus! When fitted [take off by pressing in fixing catch and sliding fitting out] both the strap and the arms are very tightly fixed. This makes changing between arms and strap a little awkward but also means the fitted item is excellently fixed in place. The headset has a pivot point that allows the whole lens assembly to move 'up and down', the lens holder has a pivot point to allow th lens to be put to the desired viewing angle and the lens holder can slide in towards the face or out to further adjust viewing requirement. The lenses are easily changed, snap securely into place, hold firmly and remove easily by user. There is also a light with two brightness settings that are easily accessed by a single button press [off, on, very bright in a cycle]. The light is part of the pivoted assembly and also has its own pivot point to adjust angle as needed. There is only a little more to cover. The device is very light to wear - much more so than other similar, bulkier devices. The 'bridge' that holds the magnifier at the bridge of the nose is very comfortable too. If you do not normally wear glasses it will take some getting used to wearing this device. Those that already do wear glasses can wear both the glasses and this device at the same time if needed - will take some getting used to but I can report it is totally 'doable' and the sliding nature of lens fitment helps a lot. Charging the device is very easy! The included charge cable is a bit short but perfect for the job and fits to the device with micro usb then into laptop / PC / standard USB charger / battery pack via standard USB A. I bought the YOCTOSUN LED Head Magnifier specifically for when model making but have also used it when reading to great affect. The magnifier has, so far, excelled in use. And the price point is brilliant. I do not often write such a glowing review but feel the device deserves it. I can also report that the device was delivered the next day as wanted and was well enough packed. I would use this manufacturer and seller again if needed.

The adjustable headband is comfortable to wear for long periods, and the focus stays steady without slipping. It’s lightweight but sturdy, so it feels well-balanced even during extended use. The rechargeable LED light is a huge plus. It’s bright, evenly distributed, and easily adjustable to direct the light exactly where you need it. A practical, high-quality and thoughtfully designed magnifier that’s ideal for hobbyists, DIY enthusiasts, and professionals. Great battery life, sharp optics, and real hands-free convenience.

Excellent but uncomfortable
These are excellent for close work, the extra light being especially useful. However, I found them extremely uncomfortable to wear, weighing heavily on the bridge of my nose. Quality and ease of use are otherwise very good, it's just a shame they're so uncomfortable.

Good head magnifier, with good features.
Well made and comprehensive head magnifier, good choice of magnifying lenses, adjustable focal length and rechargeable led light to illuminate the subject (cable supplied) The lenses are supplied in a neat box,and they are held in a rack arrangement to keep them separate from each other, and they are each marked with their magnification strength. When wearing I did not find them too heavy, but the arms can be remove and replaced with a supplied head band if required. The nose rest can be adjusted if needed. There is a lens cleaning cloth and comprehensive instructions are included.Very good value.

Needs improving...
These arrived earlier today and I've had them on for about two hours now. Firstly, I have a medical condition which effects brain and spine and as such , I suffer with migraines, those god awful ones that cause hallucinations. I have to be very careful as the slightest thing, perfume, light, video games and recently magnifying glasses can trigger them. I've tried several magnifiers now, floor standing ones, clip on ones, those with the extendable arms, even the cheap flat ones. I've yet to find a specific model that I can actually use. I've tried those over head ones with the visor but they are awful for me, I've also tried those that look like glasses. Needless to say, I've spent a small fortune on finding something that will aid my failing eyes and not trigger a migraine. I don't want to speak too soon and jinx myself here, but I may have found the solution. This magnifier offers both magnification of various strengths along with gentle illumination from the LED lights. You can wear them as you would glasses which I found terribly uncomfortable, or it can fit to the head by a band, which I find is much better. The whole thing can be adjustable in various ways, which offers varying degrees of comfort while wearing. I've only had to adjust the nose bridge which can be made slightly wider by gently pulling apart the two bridge holders to widen the gap between them. I say gently because they look likely to snap if too much force is applied. The magnifiers slot into place easily, and the lens slot itself can be moved back and fourth. Depending on your seating and closeness to your work, this is handy to have. The power switch for the LED is directly on top of the battery compartment and easy to operate while wearing the device. Since I've been wearing the magnifier, just over two hours now, it's becoming slightly uncomfortable. Despite the adjustments made to the nose bridge, it's now becoming irritating and I have to readjust the position. The band works its way loose after a time which in turn makes the device slip, but it's not a major problem. A simple retighten and it's fine again. For comfort, or lack of should I say, I can only give this device 4 stars. If it had more cushioning of some kind, foam or felt for the nose and forehead pieces, it would have been a nice addition had they been there. And one last thing, is the transition from magnifier to "normal" seeing. This is what triggers my migraines, I can't even wear varifocals becuase of this What I mean by that is... looking through the magnifier to see your work, then looking around without the magnifier - that transition from one to the other is what gets me everytime. I expect the same will apply again to these when I've used them for a few days in a row, but that's becuase of my own medical problems and not the fault of the magnifier. Anyone else will probably not even notice this transition or bother you in any way. The product itself looks and feels flimsy. I doubt it will last long. The lens slot feels a little loose and that nose bridge needs some padding, has does the forehead. I've just removed the device and I now have a dimpled impression where the plastic forehead plate has rested, lol I will probably find out a piece of felt later for this and see if something can be done about the nose part too. I doubt the magnifier will last, it was quite cheap in price. If I get on with it alright, I'll upgrade to a better, more well built model. If you just want to try it yourself, then this is at a great price at the moment and worth giving it a go. Oh and just to conclude this review, the reason for purchase was for cross stitching. I can't comment about battery life yet.

Little flimsy but does the job
I bought these since I needed magnification with lightening and having my hands free. Overall I am OK w/ the result although not getting the magnification I hoped for. Regarding magnification values - it follows the rule that these are generously exaggerated for most magnification products on Amazon. For the “3.5x” I can see linear magnification 1.7x-1.8x and area magnification around 3x. All lenses were w/o surface issues, the LED and battery so far work, there is a tightening band and lens cleaning cloth in the set For 28EUR the construction seems weak (too thin plastic in some places which may be OK for aesthetics but not great for robustness of a tool). Also the part to which the different lenses are attached seems to be a weak point. From what I see, this part will lose its holding properties after some small number of lenses exchanging. So the way I intend to use the glasses is to put the lenses which I would use the most and avoid removing or changing them. Perhaps I will even glue them. For my situation this will be kind of OK but for somebody else could be an issue. Update: The product failed after less than 1 hour total use, indeed the way the lenses are attached is poor, although not in the way I expected. What happened is that during use I pushed up the lenses, they somehow dismounted and fell on the ground and the mounting hook broke. So I lost the highest magnification option already. Indeed, permanent gluing seems to be the way to go…

Excellent product
This headlamp is so useful for my job! I'm a quality inspector and it helps to have a light and a closer look at parts. The light is the perfect brightness and it's great to have multiple lenses to choose from. The price is also right! I didn't want to spend a lot because it's for work, but this will serve me for years.

It is great for repairs of glasses and close work.
I needed to repair a pair of cheap reading glasses that I only use at home instead of my bifocals. Fortunately I didn't loose the tiny screw that held the nose piece in place. I also do models that often have small parts that are a) hard to hold b) need two hands c) hard to see. Looked for something wearable and ordered these. Worked like a charm. I tried the headband with my normal glasses but found that uncomfortable so switched back to the arms without my glasses on. I could still see the small screw and hole. the light is bright but takes a little getting used to to aim it at the part that you are working on. Just remember Focal Length changes with stronger lenses, so you may have to get closer to what you are working on.

EXCELLENT PRODUIT
