Hampton Nautical Whitewashed Cast Iron Poop Deck Door Sign 6" - Metal Wall Plaque - Decorative Metal Wall Art

I bought this for our guest bathroom door. The bathroom has a beach/ocean theme so it fits perfectly. It's really cute, funny and just as described.

This is a very heavy, little metal plaque for our nautical bathroom and was an awesome gift for my husband! Looks antique and exactly what I hoped for, even more solid!

It's tiny! The lettered area is actually only about 4" long and the entire plaque end to end is not 6" long. Also I ordered the whitewashed, it looks NOTHING like the picture. Its completely white, doesn't look old or weathered and much of the raised lettering and border is the identical color as the background so it's not easy to read. Cool idea so I'm keeping it, will have to use chalk paint and sand paper to get the weathered look I'm going for. Also no matching hardware so be prepared to spend time finding screws that fit then plan to use paint or marker on the heads to give them the same look as the sign or it will look super cheesey. Definitely a project but will look cool in the end if you want to invest the time.

This is a fun piece for sure! We got it for the door of our RV bathroom. It would be cute for decor in any bathroom. It is pretty small for the cost. And the paint covers the letters and space between the letters equally. So it is hard to see the letters. But all it takes is some paint of any kind and a sponge. Wipe it and get it on the letters so they will pop from the background, it is easy!

I bought this as a gift and I’m very disappointed upon recieving it. The description states it’s a 6” wall plaque and the item I received is about 4”-5.1/4”. I ordered the white wash and it looks nothing like the picture. The entire thing is painted white and you can’t tell the difference between the words and the background. It’s so small you can’t even read it unless you are super close. I’m going to have to try and figure out a way to make the words readable now. It also didn’t come with any hardware to hang it and was completely loose in the shipping box. So all in all I did not get what I paid for, and I’m not impressed with the false advertising of this product.

I read the reviews so I knew what I was getting into before I purchased. The product is made well and the finish I got looks great. I know some people have had issues with the quality of theirs. I love mine and would recommend.

Got this for the husband as part of his birthday gift, he loved it. It's nice and heavy cast iron and installed easily. I did not thoroughly read the product description though, so I thought I was getting a 12" sign, this is more like 6". Either way, my husband loves it and hung it proudly over the toilet paper roll in the bathroom... Lucky me.

I'm sure it was my fault for not looking at the dimensions but honestly this was far too small to be useful. Also it was painted in a way that you could barely see the border and letters. It was all solid white. I ended up getting a paint brush out and painting the letters myself. Looks much better, but honestly wouldn't pay more than maybe $1-$2. Bummer.

Perfect but does not look like the picture. Was painted a solid white not the antiqued distressed white shown. A bit of sandpaper gave it the stressed look. Its perfect for my beach themed bathroom

As others have said, it didn't look like this...it was covered in paint and I had to sand off the layer to make it look as shown. Otherwise love it & great price.

This is not handcrafted, on the back it says made in China, the lettering is not unpainted like how it's pictured here, the whole thing is painted and you can't see the lettering at all. I had to take paint stripper and paint it over the lettering then wipe it off to make the lettering readable. Very disappointing.

Double check the size. I thought it was bigger, alas that is my fault. However, the one we got is all white, and doesn't have the similar worn look in the picture. (give me some time with a sandpaper and I can do it)
