I bought this with the hope we can drop using adhesive eye patches. My kid liked that it was comfortable to wear and didn’t make her eye uncomfortable. A she loved how cute it was. I do recommend you measure glasses before hand, as my little ones fit a little loose. But it stays on pretty well. That is why I gave it 4 stars. * * * * * * * * * * Unfortunately, her optometrist said they do not recommend these because they don’t do a good job like a typical adhesive eye patch. So I encourage you to please ask your optometrist before you buy it. It may be different for your child’s situation, but unfortunately for us, it wasn’t helping improve her condition.

Finally, something that doesn’t irritate my toddlers’ eyelids. No more sticker patches. So glad I found this. Worth it. Made my little girl excited about patching. She does it herself and keeps it in the little container.

En agosto del 2024 mi hija fue diagnósticada con ambliopía (ojo vago,) al principio usamos parches que se pegaban, era molesto y detestaba usarlos hasta que encontré estos y le encantó, fue menos frustrante para ella aceptar usarlo. Puedo afirmar que funcionan porque con el uso diaria durante 1 año rebertio su diagnóstico y ahora es una niña feliz :)

Exactly what I needed...

My daughter loved the cute print and the soft material. She has sensitive skin and these cause zero irritation. They are relatively easy for us to put onto her glasses but the little black elastic band that is use on the arm of the glasses was flimsy and broke after about a month of use on my daughter's glasses and we had to re-stitch it. It's definitely preferable to the adhesive eyepatch (no sticky goop!) option but wish the elastic was a little bit sturdier to last taking them on and off.

My daughter had to start wearing a patch when she was just 20 months old, putting the sticky patches on her eye was IMPOSSIBLE, we were frustrated and exhausted. The sticky patches would get caught in her hair and pull on her skin. I ordered her this patch with the dog on it and we played pirate with it and made up a pirate song and she grew to love it, we even named her doggy patch. This patch made patching so much easier on both me and my daughter and her surgeon was happy with the progress she made while patching. This is also far more cost effective then the stick on patches as a box of the stick on patches is $30 or more in Canada and only lasts 1.5 months. If you have a young child who wears glasses and needs to patch I highly recommend these patches. I'm so so thankful I found these and they worked for my daughter. Good luck parents! Patching is hard but if you make it fun and stick with it your chid will thank you! You can do this!

Great soft eye patch. My daughter is wearing it for a few hours every day to strengthen her opposite eye. The pattern is really cute and fun slides easily over both pairs of glasses that she has.

We struggled to get our 6 year old to wear patches daily to strengthen her vision until we found this product. She now loves wearing them to school to show them off and never complains they hurt her eyes like with stick on patches. Highly recommend this for young kids!
