The quality is great and it matched my set perfectly

I like the style of lamp they were going for but the construction of the shade is terribly sloppy. The lamp finish is somewhat different from the picture. They did not use real mica panels. The pieces of cheap imitation mica ie. plastic are not cut well and light showes through on the sides. Also the tabs that hold the cheap imitation mica panels at the top are visible in some places and they shouldn’t be visible. There is no plastic grommet where the cord goes in to the metal lamp base and the insulation on the cord could be abraded by the sharp metal where it enters the hole. Overall I’m very disappointed with the quality. It’s not worth my time or aggravation to return these so I will take the shades to a local stained glass shop and have the panels replaced with actually mica cut properly. The price you pay for these is absolutely ridiculous given the poor quality of the shades.

This is not real glass, it's actually a heavy plastic shade. But still very beautiful and well made.

Im Sorry I purchased this lamp; it looks better quality on the picture than in real life ;when it arrived it was packaged well but when I opened it the thin plastic shade was coming away from its cheap badly made frame ;it's certainly not glass and it's not even a strong quality plastic which I could of lived with ;very disappointed please don't buy this item it's a complete waste of money

Some reviewers included photos, but the photos show a brightly burning bulb under the shade. This is just a result of the way the photos were taken. I used two 40 watt "twister" CFLs and the lamp sheds quite a bit of light the corner, enough to read by, but not blinding. Once thing I especially like about this lamp is the pattern on the mica shade. Might be plastic or it might be actual mica; not sure. But the mica has a geometric pattern that makes it appear like real mica. Also, the photo I've included shows a red tone in the shade. But when the lights are on, my shade is a lovely "fire" orange.

Very nice desk lamp. Love the color of the shade and dispenses a nice light. I have to take there word though that it is Micah because it sure feels like plastic.

Okay lamps. I was expecting better quality for the price. Once assembled they kind of look like space ships. I returned these
