Privacy without darkening
I bought these for my Mom's very sunny kitchen. The curtains allowed the perfect amount of light into the room, without making it too dark. I bought another pair to replace her vertical blinds in the same room and they look great!

Surpassed my expectations!
I needed to replace some old vertical slat blinds and my budget was limited. More than anything I needed some insulation from the cold coming off my sliding glass doors. I bought these based on all the good reviews. I really liked that the side facing the outside was not that horrible white plastic and the same color was on both sides. The material has a very high end silky feel and it was so light compared to others I had seen I doubted it would do anything to insulate against the cold...I was wrong. The room is markedly warmer that before and the temp has been in the low teens here. I felt the two panels were enough for my standard sliding glass doors and covered them completely when closed while still giving a nice wavy drape. Because of the lightweight fabric there is no need for tiebacks unless you want the decorative look of them. The curtains easily gather together at each end and hang nicely straight so I will not be using tiebacks. The window drapes I put in my dryer's steam fresh setting for 15 minutes and they came out wrinkle free. Because I had issues with a stripped screw while hanging the sliding glass door curtain rod and I just wanted them up, I did not put them in the dryer...after a few days the folds did not fall out so I got out my garment steamer and with little effort the folds melted away. I did notice after steaming that the curtains were about a quarter to a half inch longer which was fine with me. I do have animals and I got black curtains however I have not noticed any issue with pet hair sticking to them as that can be such an issue with some curtains. Now that they are up and wrinkle free they look so good I can't imagine being happier with another choice at any price. I thought I was settling based on my budget instead I am as happy with the results as if I had spent a fortune...and my budget stays intact! Highly recommended!

Perfect blackout panels for master bedroom!!
I have literally searched about 15 stores in search for nice blackout curtains for our master bedroom. I have purchased and returned at least 50 panels from those stores and was disappointed to find that once I got them hung up they were not at all black out. I went to my go to, Amazon, and sure enough I found these perfect curtains for my bedroom! They are a true blackout which is rare and hard-to-find. Most blackouts are cheap and ugly and have that awful white liner to them. Since I dont have blinds I didnt want that showing out my house. I purchased the burgundy panels in 84 inch length and I love the copper bronze grommets as opposed to the nickel grommets. They are very hard to find in that color combination. Like all curtains, you have to buy extra sets to find pairs that are matching lengths. I'm not sure why it's so difficult for people to sew the panels consistently 84 inch length but I had to buy seven sets (14 panels) to get four panels that were about the same length. Some were 2 inches too short, some uneven, some dragged on the floor. (Thank you for easy returns!!) Even though they're not perfect as they do get shorter on the ends, overall I'm happy with them, finally. They were easy to iron or steam and hang beautifully. The burgundy is a rich dark color, definitely more red than purple which I had hoped for. Depending how the light hits, they do appear more red. The fabric is heavy and has a beautiful sheen to it. Not too shiny but just enough to give it a touch of class. As you can see from my photos they do block out most sunlight, except of course from the top but that is to be expected. To prevent glare from the sides just adjust the rod longer than the window and hang the curtains a few inches past the edge. I highly recommend these! Price was right and excellent quality.

Actual Blackout Curtains without Linings!
I just replaced my homemade blackout curtains with these drapes and they are beautiful. Here's why:Our home faces southeast. Our bedroom windows are very tall. The two center ones (including the wall below the windows) measure 144" (12') and the side windows (including the wall below the windows) measure 108"(9') The longest drapes that I could find online were with this company and are 120", so I purchased one more packet of shorter drapes so I could create longer panels, plus I sewed two panels together for each side of the window to give it more fullness. It was not a huge project, like the original curtains I made years ago. I chose dark brown as it's the same color as the previous ones and fits our lodge decor. When shut, they really DO block out sunlight. They slide very smoothly on the rods which, when you consider we're pulling panels that are 8' wide by 12' high, that's pretty remarkable. I purchased the decorative ribbon through Amazon to cover the seams and they add a nice decorative touch to the top. These drapes are a GREAT value for the money. I easily spent over $1000 for the fabric and lining for my previous drapes. I couldn't believe what a good deal these would be. They give you simple directions for getting the wrinkles out which works like a champ. I like to read reviews before I buy anything online, so if you're like me, I think you will be very pleased with the quality of these. And if you're lucky enough to have standard sized windows where you don't need to sew anything together, even better!
