The media could not be loaded. It arrived on time and came in great condition, no dents/scratches, and seems to work perfectly. It was packaged in a bubble wrap that kept it secured and had plastic covering it to prevent scratching. Very pleased with the product and got it at a great price!Edit: After having the laptop for only a couple days the charger was not working properly (would connect but not charge) so I contacted support and the seller sent me a replacement within a few days!

Most people are nervous when it comes to buying something refurbished. Scared that it won’t be perfect or mess up in some way. My experience was totally different . It came in nice packaging and it worked 100% absolutely no problems.

1st unit bought from seller Chrome Source which was horrible. The mac arrived rattling around inside a medium sized Fedex box. Opened it to find the mac was just wrapped in single sheet of bubble wrap then tossed in the box. No fragile label or anything on the outside. Luckily the cosmetic appearance was still good. However, I tried to power on and battery was completely dead. Plugged it in, turned it on and had to wait about 2 hours for battery to fully charge to test it. Checked the battery life and found the "Battery Service Recommended" warning. It had a total of 749 cycle counts on the battery and 4049 mAh life remaining. Nowhere near the guaranteed 80% battery life or better on this unit. The unit was very dirty, hair and crumbs falling out of keyboard and every port including power port had dirt and lint built up in it. This is by far the worst "renewed" product I have ever bought. I immediately contacted seller, took them 2 days plus going through Amazon customer service to get a response offering to replace. I opted to just return it as I already purchased a second unit from Platinum Deals which showed up very clean, in like new cosmetic condition, packaged well in an aftermarket computer box, full charge on the battery that had 6100 mAh of battery life remaining well over 80%. The second unit I kept. Point is, be careful what seller you go through. I would absolutely buy from Platinum Deals again but will never purchase anything from Chrome Source again. I will be leaving a positive review on the second unit purchased from Platinum Deals.Update: For whatever reason I can only leave a single review even though I purchased 2 of these from 2 different sellers. I am leaving the negative star rating due to my first experience because I feel that is more important for others to see but hopefully my entire review will be read. As far as the 2nd unit purchased from Platinum Deals, I give it 5 stars in all categories.

The media could not be loaded. So at first this was a 5/5 stars I went cheap and got the acceptable at first I only noticed like 3 debts at the corners I didn’t complain cs the laptop WORKS AMAZING it came charged the battery life last long unless your playing Roblox or using an app that uses a big amount of battery I only got the laptop because I’m 18 freshmen in college with a prime job and it was pretty affordable for me at first I didn’t notice this but it came with like this sticker that covered all the scratches that the laptop had under it the sticker thing came up and that’s when I seen all the stretches on the laptop I don’t complain cs it’s something I can cover up with stickers which is what I was already gonna do before the sticker thing came off the volume on the laptop is amazing as you can hear at first I was skeptical about getting it based on peoples reviews but once’s I got it I was like okay for a laptop that is Acceptable It’s great just know the difference they sell acceptable, good and I think the third one is great condition I could be wrong but when you get the acceptable you’ll get one like mine but still works great so don’t get it twisted I’ll see in another year how the laptop holds up

I like the design and the price. The battery life leaves a little to be desired but other than that and once you get the curve of going from a laptop or a Chromebook to the MacBook, it works great

When I finally received it, it only turned on once. Started setting it up. I come back to it within the hour and it wouldn’t turn on again. Then they had no replacement. I had to get a refund. Told Amazon I didn’t want a gift card from the beginning. I needed my money back to go elsewhere. They kept telling me over over again for different reasons each person I spoke to that they could only give me a gift card. First it was because I didn’t tell them I wanted the refund back in the form of my original payment. FALSE. Then it was because my financial institution won’t take refunds back from Amazon. FALSE. ETC. Finally reason being was the company through Amazon that it came from sent the money back in form of a gift card. ??? It all didn’t make sense to me. I almost thought I was going to have to contact my friend that is an attorney. When I made the statement they would end up having to pay me triple times the amount and then some after court, it would be better for you all if you just returned my money as due. Refunded back into my financial account within the hour. They had to do two separate refunds. ??? Again confused. But that is ok all that mattered was what was rightfully mine, was returned. Will not buy a big purchase like that ever again through Amazon though.
