I bought this beautiful necklace to go with my Halloween costume this year. When it arrived, I was beside myself. And I took it out and it was even more perfect than I expected!The attention to detail is incredible. I am obsessed with medieval and gothic weaponry and metal work and this necklace REALLY exceeded my expectations!The sword is the cutest thing, I did not know that you could attach and detach the sword from its scabbard. The sword looks SO realistic to me and it makes me feel like I have an actual sword on my person- just a mini version!So in love with this!And normally I dont like gems, jewels or diamonds BUT the jewel at the top of the scabbard is beautiful.Everybody who is obsessed with The Hobbit will know what I am saying when I say, the jewel and where it's placed reminds me so much of The Arkenstone placed at the top of the Erebor throne!Absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!Did the best I could do to do the sword and scabbard justice with my pictures. Phone quality is bad.

I wish that the scabbard went all the way around, but the back is just two bars across it to keep the sword from falling out that way. Plus, the sword is really rather thin for such a wide scabbard, I wish it would have been made a little wider to match the scabbard. Oh well though.The piece itself is beautiful and the detail is great. I love the way the sword hangs around your neck and it's a great conversation starter. And while the sword is rather thin, it does stay in the scabbard pretty well, I wore it to work and the sword never fell out once. I almost want to take a star off for the lack of the back of the scabbard since I hadn't known about it beforehand, but the piece is really beautiful, I really like it, and I know I will wear it plenty.So I am giving it 5/5. I think another reviewer said they received a ball link chain, but my chain came just as pictured. So I'm not sure...luck of the draw I guess?

My sister in law got this for me for my birthday. I love it. I kinda wish it had a real blade on it but I completely understand why it doesn’t lol. My only true complaint is that the chain holding the dagger to the sheath gets in the way because it can’t really hang naturally and it did break. I was able to fix it with no issue though.

Perfect! Was perfect for my costume. The little dagger separates from the sheath. I had to shorten the chain to get to this length.

Nice size, not to small, great quality

I wish I had looked at the reviews first before purchasing.I like the idea of the piece, and what I got seems well made. I have not worn it yet, so not sure if there will be a metal-skin reaction. The length is perfect.However....Had I seen the back was open I would not have purchased it. The sword is too loose when in the ‘scabbard’ and the scabbard itself is too wide for the sword. The crystal is also not my favorite but I think I can change that out myself for something that is more in line with the feel of the necklace.Years ago I saw the perfect dagger necklace in Pyramid and have been kicking myself for not purchasing it. This is the closest I have found to what I was looking for.

ITS SO CUTE. The small sword fits into the back. It would be cool if the back was a full case instead of open back. But still looks absolutely radical from the front. Plus the small details gives you something to look at when you check it out. Thank you ^^
