Put this on my 97 Subaru Outback. It's quieter than I thought, considering it's straight through, with no obstruction in the exhaust path. It might be the big resonator I put on quieting it down, but it's really only a little louder than stock. This is not a problem at all for me, but something to be aware of. I personally prefer quiet so as not to be obnoxious. It's definitely sounding better as time goes on, and has gotten just a bit louder. When it was first installed, it was at about the same sound level as stock. Now it has a nice rumble to it and is quite a pleasant sound. Haven't noticed any MPG change from the less-restrictive pipe.

bought this muffler to replace the stock muffler on a 1998 Mercedes ml320 even though its a six cylinder the magnaflow gives it a nice deep growl when your on it but doesn't sound obnoxious in the cab or drone on the highway .for the price you cant go wrong on amazon i had a muffler shop install it because the stock muffler was a dual in single out (very hard to find a decent aftermarket alternative )so the shop built a custom y pipe adapter to fit this muffler and make it work with my system couldn't be happier

It was too big a diameter for a Miata, even though the description states it will fit. Muffler seems very well made.

Installed these in a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria. They sound nice, a little more rumbly than the stock mufflers in place (which unfortunately rotted away, go figure). They sound a little better once they break in, but are stick kind of stockish.They are about 8'' too short to serve as a direct replacement, you will have to use test pipe or similar.

I put this on my 2003 miata 1.8 At first i welded up the inlet but not the outlet to the tail pipe, then took it for a test drive and I really liked the sound there was a little bit of drone but very mild. After the test drive I welded on the tailpipe and that made it quieter and now there is no drone. It is louder than stock and if I listen closely I cap hear the exhaust pop with the top down. I wanted a deep tone, no drone, and to be able to actually hear my exhaust. This muffler did all of those things, I cant wait to hear it after its broken in.

I installed the magnaflow and it sounds great. Vary good value for the price.

It’s not polished like the pictures, it comes with nasty looking mig welds. Also, it’s 409ss, barely stainless.
