TLDR: I love these bags and I have transformed into the green lady at the grocer. These bags are awesome, since I opened the package (which was neat and tidy with minimal packaging) I have taken them on multiple trips hauling groceries prior to writing this. So I could write this well informed review. We have longed for an easier and more conscientious method to shop for fresh foods in our household. Behold the Lotus bags. No more searching your home for the reusable plastic ones that are never around when you need them. No more of the frantically bagging your groceries at self check out while a busy Karen scoffs at you because you are taking to long (I’m trying to do my part to save the planet Karen, gosh) and no more of the fifty loose bags in your trunk that takes up more space than the body you had to hide for a friend last week. They stay open and stand upright and take the stress off of your arms when trying to lift your haul into the back of your car. I look like the most eco-conscious person at the market and I hope that someone else out there wants to be the same green goddess in the produce section with me because I will recommend these to everyone even Karen because I think is important and it helps when these kinds of products are user friendly. I also will recommend the small produce bags here as well because reducing plastics in every way that we can will start making the differences that we desperately need to see. They are equally as great but I will end here. Everyone these bags are great and if you too want to be the coolest person at the market then you won’t regret these.

I looked at these for awhile before purchasing. I have other bags, but they have disappointed me. I like how these are stored easily together and easy to take into store to place in the cart. The quality is higher than my previous bags. I like the soft colors. Haven’t had to clean stains or spills off of them yet to truly know the “ease of cleaning,” They are easy to carry and not heavy. I like how easily these have made my organizing items for checkout, loading the car, and carrying into the house. Wish I would have made this purchase sooner.

This is the second time I have purchased these bags. Loved them the first time, but found them a little hard use. When a store checkout has a carousel bagging area, you have to get a second cart to use with the Lotus bags so you can open them up and place items in. I gave my bags away and went back to the box type reusable bags. Not long after I gave my Lotus bags away, I started shopping at a grocery store with a conveyor belt. Wished I had my Lotus bags back. Then my store started offering SCAN & GO. I could put my box type open bags in the cart and start shopping. Just scan the item you want and place it in your bag. At checkout I scan the QR and everything is transferred to the register, pay and leave. It works great, except these old box type bags DO NOT fit well in the cart and becomes a pain to use. Then I remembered my old Lotus bags, they were made for this. So glad I was able to find them again on Amazon. I did not hesitate to order them again. I knew first hand they were quality made and would be the perfect solution. When Covid-19 hit, stores would not allow you to bring in your own bags, you had to use the stores plastic bags. That did not sit well with me. Then I found out I COULD use my bags, IF I did the SCAN & GO. Now grocery shopping is a breeze and using Apple Pay makes checkout touch free. The only thing I DO NOT like is my fault...I have a habit of overloading the bags making them hard to lift. But, these bags handle it and stand up to the extra weight. Amazon ask you to give the most important reason you like or dislike the item you are reviewing for the Headline of the review. That was easy. #1 MADE IN THE USA!! But, my second reason is...THIS IS A FAMILY BUSINESS and they have a great product!!

This was the best purchase. I love this idea and the set. I was contemplating my own shopping cart and came across these. Finally a smart solution to a million random reusable shopping bags. No offense but it's to much. I need simple fast and easy. These bags are sturdy and hold a great deal. There's a compartment/ pocket for wine. They sit right on the sides of the cart making it easy. I can get everything inside 1 trip. Worth it!!!

I purchased these as I’m trying to reduce the amount of plastic I use. They look beautiful and fit perfectly in Pete’s shopping carts. Was a breeze to use as I shopped and checkout was pretty seamless as I already had all my groceries organized. Also made it so much easier and faster to put away groceries at home. The downside to these bags is they are awkward to hold when loaded. The mesh bags don’t have any structure or foundation so the weight of your groceries pulls the bag down making it longer and throws off the weight distribution as you’re carrying them. The straps are advertised as being “long” but they really aren’t that long in my opinion (and I’m a petite woman) and are uncomfortable to wear over your shoulder, especially in the winter when you also have a jacket on. They kinda dig into your armpit. Because of their size, you can fit so much which is awesome but does make it harder to carry as they are heavy! That being said, it was nice being able to bring all my groceries inside in one go even if they were heavy and awkward to carry! Ideally, I’d like reusable bags that have more of a base/hold their shape. Till I find something like that, I’ll continue using these as they do serve their purpose.
