Bought this scoop to replace flimsy one wife broke she says it’s the same one they used when she worked in ice cream works well and sturdy doesn’t look like she’ll break this one in 2 and it cuts through the frozen ice cream like butter

It does what it was made to do. Cheaper than diapered chef & as good quality

The media could not be loaded.  Makes serving ice cream so easy. Not only does the mineral oil inside help redistribute the heat from your hand to warm the ice cream, you can also run the handle under hot water to do the same. My FAVORITE thing, however, is how easily the ice cream COMES OUT of the scoop - no more having to stick my fingers into a cold treat and PUSH it out of the scoop. The ice cream literally just falls right out into the bowl. It's amazing.

The New Star Foodservice 7006957 Commercial Ice Cream Dipper Scoop Yellow 3-oz Size 12, scoops ice cream well. Ice cream did not stick to the scoop. I have only used it once but I think I am pleased. It is sturdy and is easy to hold. It is easy to hand wash.

Nice quality and less expensive than other well known brands. Makes nice scoops. Easy to clean: run it under the faucet (water only) and let dry. It is that simple.

I got tired of bending all my large tablespoons. This scoop was inexpensive and works extremely well. Thumbs up.

Wife made a mistake and put it in the dishwasher. It was garbage after that. Oxidized to the point of no return.

To be honest, I had my doubts about this little scoop. It is filled with anti-freeze, and so requires special handling, can not be put through the dishwasher. I bought it after reading a review of a similar model which indicated this it is what is used in in ice cream parlors. It was inexpensive enough that I thought worth taking a chance on.I have nicely designed scoop from Zyliss  Zyliss Right Scoop Assorted Colors  which I love, however...I made some ice cream for my son's birthday with a fabulous recipe from the New York Times. It tastes great, if you can get it out of the container. It is a very dense, rich ice cream which froze very solid. It has taken quite a bit of work to get any out with my regular scoop, but this has worked like magic.I never would have considered purchasing a scoop filled with anti-freeze until I saw that review, so Thank you to whoever recommended it, and I am passing that recommendation on, as I a finding that this works quite well, well enough that I intend to buy another in a different size (because I like that recipe too).

Maybe this is common knowledge to some but I did not realize putting this item through the dishwasher would blacken it! It's apparently possible to clean, but this information should be somewhere on the product page. Hand wash only!

I was disappointed by this item because it is not dishwasher safe, and this was not clearly stated in the listing. To me, commercial grade means it would be washed by dishwasher, not by hand. If you are ok with hand washing, it is a nice weight and a good size.

Muy buen tamaño, como para hacer bolas de 150 grs... tiene anticongelante en el mango, para que con el calor de la mano, se descongele la cuchara que hace la bola, para que no se quede pegado el helado a la misma. No se debe meter al lavavajillas, es de alluminio de buena calidad, lo recomiendo ampliamente.

tenia yo una cuchara para servir helado, de esas que se aprieta un botón y corta la bola, bueno, el helado como está duro, rompió aquella cuchara,al probar esta,fue tan sencillo y se hace una bola muy estética me gusto mucho esta cucharavalió la pena

La calidad del materia no es optima ya que no es de acero inoxidable pero aun asi se desliza muy bien por la superficie del helado formando una bola muy elegante y bien formada. La recomiendo. Muy resistente hasta ahora.
