YESWELDER True Color Solar Powered Auto Darkening Welding Goggles, 2 Sensors Welder Glasses for TIG MIG MMA Plasma

These welding goggles are exactly what I needed for welding a couple of cramped areas. They are reasonably priced, worked perfectly, and provide sufficient shade level for MIG welding. You have to be careful with some of the cheaper goggles because they provide only shade level 5 which isn't adequate for MIG welding. And worse, some provide zero UV/IR protection which is critical in welding. These goggles provide proper shading and full UV/IR protection. They are also auto darkening and so far darken reliably and plenty fast. I recommend these goggles.

These work great and the auto darkening feature is just as good as their full helmets. These for me were perfect for two things. One is for very quick short outdoor spot welds connecting rebar away from my face. Second is light weight and hard to get in spots with a traditional helmet. Note if you wear these with no additional protection for more than the time of a spot weld/tack, and make the mistake of leaning in too close, you will be sunburned. But for specific use and outdoor quick little welds this works excellent and at a good price. Saves me time from getting out my full helmet and risking scratching or damage doing little quick small welds around areas outside. I use this most to join rebar at about arms length away.Last it works great in that the case has a lanyard where I can clip it to my pocket. This is where I feel it's most useful especially moving around on a large area and needing to take them on and off periodically and doing other tasks in between and not wanting to have a full helmet your dragging around.

Worked exactly how I needed them to, in a confined space to backweld some 1” nozzles. They’re extremely small, but did great today.Not for everyday use, or continued use. I’d only use them for exactly what I used them for today, a super confined space, very short tig passes. I probably wouldn’t do any mig with these I feel like the sunburn would be terrible, even with trying to cover my face.Kept my eyeballs good, that’s all I needed.

These glasses work as good as my auto-dim helments and color balance is outstanding.Dimming speed is excellent and thequality of fit and materials is top notch. When it comes to welding and sparks you should not be welding if you do not know how to protect your skin from burns, PERIOD. These are my go to eye shields for most projects and the light weight portability makes welding more comfortable and less expensive. They look cool if that counts.No more sweating and head skills needed. At this price its certainly worth a try.

I use this on my permanent jewelry and when I do things like anklets or necklaces and can’t be under the welding shield. I purchased these they are great when they work unfortunately, that’s not always the case these best in low lighting scenarios so they can see the brightness of the welder and initiate the auto darken, however on bright days at outdoor events the glasses cannot register when it’s bright from the welder, or from the light so they will randomly flicker, the welding darkening feature.

These actually worked very well . Great buy for the price. Can’t go wrong if you do real welding in small tight places where your helmet doesn’t fit.
