20 seconds On Then Off :( 2nd Lamp So Far So Good :)
Have a 73" Mitsubishi C-9 for over 10 years an Awesome TV. So second lamp I brought from Mogloc-44. I brought one 10-28-2020 and quit working on 4-22-22. So about 1 1/2 years of heavy use and burned out. Brought a new one and arrived the next day. Installation was easy. Unplugged TV and removed outside screw cover to 2 screws inside pulls out and replaced the same way. I clean the inside and clean the fan and wheel with blow dryer. Re-installed and plug TV back in turned on TV screen was bright and after approx. 20 seconds TV went dark light went out. Went through the turning on process and again 20 seconds later TV Dark. Open the cover back up and took out the lamp and check connections and everything look good. Re-installed lamp and cover and again 20 seconds of nice picture and then DARK! Picture was bright and looked good but then DARK. I do notice the red light on my front panel indicating bad lamp. I am going for a replacement to arrive again next day and will UPDATE how this replacement Lamp works. So another 24 hours of no Big TV and this during NBA Playoff time :( UPDATE: So 2nd lamp arrived again within a day Thanks Amazon!!! Installed and turned on and no issues. Very bright and again this 10 year Mits 73" C-9 TV looks brand new. I couldn't believe the difference in a old lamp bulb and a new one. I thought I was losing my eyesight trying to read or watch TV since the start of 2022. Some information for you this lamp is so bright I turn my brightness setting down to halfway or factory settings. This will save the life of the bulb. An old TV repairman told me this so set it down you will have to it's so bright! I also turned the Temp setting from High to Low and it isn't as bright but still awesome looking. I have the picture mode on Brillant and a little high on Contrast and Color I've set higher. I don't think this affects the life of the bulb and can be change back to High temp if you wish. I'm back to 5 stars for this lamp and might purchase another one and change out every 6 months. Will be returning the defective lamp to Kohl's. What a great TV very dependable and just replacing the lamp every so often a lot better brand then some of the big TV's out these days..some that aren't repairable once they have a problem..again from the Old TV repairman. Great customer service, great light!
My 73 inch DLP was not as bright as it used to be, and being my DLP is over ten years old it's not my first time replacing the lamp. So I ordered a replacement here, it arrived with two days. Replacement was simple and easy, but it really didn't seem much brighter. Oh well I thought, maybe I replaced a little early. Then 5 weeks later (outside of the return period) I'm watching TV when the screen suddenly gets much darker and after 60 seconds the TV turns off. Same thing happens again when I turn it back on. Resetting the TV did not help. I contacted seller and they immediately set me up with a free replacement. Two days later I had a it, and again installation was quick and easy. The result was OMG! I didn't remember how bright this TV can get! The colors are unbelievable, I'm wishing I had done this a couple years ago. And much thanks to seller for their prompt no questions asked service.

THESE LAMPS WILL DAMAGE YOUR TV
This company makes lamps that will damage your TV. This lamp was a replacement lamp that Amazon sent because the first lamp was faulty. This lamp did the same thing the first lamp did, however the second lamp damaged the TV. I’m going to tell you guys what exactly happen and please be advise it happened with both lamps from this manufacturer. I Installed these lamps in my TV, turned on the set, heard a weird noise, like a crackling sound, then an awful smell, (like burnt tuna or fish). However the TV worked, so I assumed this was normal with this manufacturer’s lamp. I waited several minutes for the smell to stop and it never did. I decided that wasn’t normal and shut off power to the TV and unplugged it. I then tried to remove the lamp and it was stuck to the TV. About a couple of week later I contacted Amazon to report the issue (actually it was my second call to them about the issue) Customer Service rep asked if I could try removing the lamp again, so I tried again while speaking with CSR and was able to remove it with a little more force than it normally takes. CSR rep stated to return the lamp and she would send a replacement. Replacement was delivered in a couple of days. I immediately installed the lamp and the same exact thing happened. It made a weird cracking sound, gave a fowl burned fish smell, however TV continued to work. The smell wouldn’t go away and my daughter said she was getting a headache and couldn’t watch TV with the lamp giving off that smell. I decided to return the lamp and choose an original Mitsubishi lamp. When attempting to remove the lamp I noticed it was stuck like the previous lamp. I applied a little more force and the lamp came out and what I noticed the lamp connection had burned and melted into the connection housing of my TV, which is the reason why it got stuck. The lamp has damaged the lamp connection to the TV because part of the lamp is melted into the TV lamp connection port. My TV is destroyed because of their faulty lamp. PLEASE HEED MY WARNING AND DO NOT BY LAMPS FROM THIS MANUFACTURER!!!!
