This stuff actually works. No hype, no gimmicks. My dog was constantly licking his paws and nothing I tried before made a real difference. I started using Musher’s Secret and within hours the licking stopped. His paws look healthier, not dry or cracked, and they feel soft instead of rough. I like that it’s all natural and safe, but more importantly it does what it claims. It creates a real barrier and actually heals, not just coats. This is amazing, my dog absolutely loves it, i put it on his paws before and after the snow to product them. this is the best quality product out there for snow protection for sure, it’s very creamy and easy to put in compared to other products i had a harder time. very functional, was able to walk, smell is low loader, very durable.

After dealing with cracked/rough paws over the past winter I decided to pull the trigger on this after several online recommendations. This stuff saves the day when you're pup has some uncomfortable roughness in their paws big time. They help a ton for the snow and ice in the winter, and keep the paws moisturized. If you're looking to test it out, go with the smaller tin, but trust me you'll want the larger tin option after giving it a try. It goes on super easy, smells very mild and keeps the paws healthy for bad conditions. Long story short, you get a lot of use out of this tin size and it works great when you put it on, keeping your dogs paws durable for the winter!

Purchased this in December 2015 to use on my schnauzer/terrier mix through the Chicago winter. We tried on various dog shoes including the rubber/rubber-alternative deflated balloon kind at the pet store but she'd either rip the boots off or it was an awkward fit. After this experience someone recommended musher's paw wax. My order came within a day or two. The wax is rich, which is great, because a dog's paws may be tough but can be hurt and/or irritated by all sorts of materials, textures, and chemicals found on the ground. I knew the significant amount of salt poured atop Chicago's snow would cause a reaction for my dog's sensitive paws especially with her allergies. Thankfully the protection wax can act as a barrier to keep harsh surfaces and chemicals at bay. However since it's essentially a lotion the wax will trap salt particles, small rocks and pieces of dirt, so as the directions note, be sure to thoroughly clean it off your dog's paws after coming back inside! The wax does seem to moisturize beyond just for protecting against surfaces & cold winter weather, so after using a towelette or wet wipe to clean the pads as well as in between, I would add a thin lightweight layer atop clean paws to help my dog stay moisturized. Now in LA I have used it several times when my dog and I go outdoors with weather over 70-75, especially with greater sun exposure. Her paws become inflamed in the LA heat and this wax has prevented that on several occasions. I have not used the product when walking on dirt trails or for prolonged periods of time, but I'd worry that the wax would collect too many small material like rocks and pieces of bark/wood chips on my dog's paws if we were to hike or go to a forest, so of course this wax is not going to be as dependable or protective as a sturdy dog boot. but certainly recommended nonetheless. Good price, rich texture so the product goes a long way and has a good shelf life, seeing as it's now April and perhaps only 1/5th of the container contents have been used. Great balm. Works very well to heal and protect raw paws and elbow calluses.

My dog has been dealing with sensitive paws for the last 3 years. every time we go on walks he would always develop small hot spots on his back paws that would easily bleed no matter how long or short the walks were. He does not tolerate shoes or socks and I tried so many things to help it, and nothing ever worked. This product was a LIFESAVER! When I say this works, it’s been a month now and ZERO bleeding and his hot spots are no longer red or inflamed. I put some on his paws every day before and after walks. 10/10 highly recommend this product!

Amazing stuff. My collie was constantly chewing at her paws - to the point where the fur was stained with blood. After two weeks gently massaging this in every day or three, her pads are no longer rough and chapped, and she hardly focuses on her paws. Been using two months and just re-ordered, although we have a week or two left in the container. She enjoys the foot rub (used treats the first few times) now and doesn't seem interested in the taste one way or the other.

My dog’s paws nolonger are as rough after long walks. On another note, I’ve completely underestimated how much 60g is. My dog is a tiny thing. I’m pretty sure she would pass on before I even finish using this
