Linwoods Milled Flaxseed, Almonds, Brazil Nuts, Walnuts and Co-q10 360g (Pack of 2)

After I moved to the States I was aghast to find that no one here knew what an LSA mix was -- it's a blend of linseed/flax, sunflower seeds and almonds that is widely found in Australia. You can sprinkle it on most foods or even baked stuff for both nutritional value as well as a crunchy texture and nutty flavour. Then I found this mix on Amazon -- it is a bit more expensive that its LSA equivalent in Oz, and instead of sunflower seeds it has an assortment of nuts. It tastes great and because my wife is a nurse I know that Co-q10 is an excellent health supplement. Product quality is good and the mix tastes nice in my smoothies and overnight oats bowls. I'll keep ordering it in -- and am glad this UK-made product is available here in the States.

I had bought this item at Bed, bath and beyond a while back, along with other varieties of the same product. I liked this one best, not only because of the flavor, but also because of the health benefits of the ingredients. I have been using it in smoothies. It is a shame that we now have to import it.

I like that it has the q10 and flax. I find the nuts too small and unnecessary. Too expensive. I probably will not buy again.

Linwoods Milled Flax product is a great source of healthful fiber. Easy to digest. It can be added to everything from cereal, yogurt, fruit, baked goods. It`s worth the three week wait from Ireland/ UK.

This is a product I have been using for years. This is the first time I ever received it with barely a three month expiration date. This is very disheartening. To say-the-least.

I've been adding this Linwoods mix of milled flaxseed, almonds, Brazil nuts, and Q10 to my breakfasts for a while now so I'm now in a really good position to judge it's impact on my health. It's packed with nutrients, especially omega-3s from the flaxseed and selenium from the Brazil nuts, which are great for overall health. For me, a really good indicator that this really worked, was by looking at my cholesterol levels. I had my cholesterol levels monitored and recorded coincidentally just before I started this supplement. After 6 months I had them taken again and to my surprise these had lowered my bad cholesterol, which was previously slightly high. Also they raised my good cholesterol levels, which were slightly on the side of the scale. Basically this has reveres the good and bad cholesterol within 6 months of taking it, which puts me in a far healthier position and less likely to suffer a stroke. This was the only change I made to my diet so I know that this is the only thing that would have made that kind of impact. Previously I would have rated this 5 out of 5 stars as the taste was awesome too. It improved the flavour of my oats in the morning and I loved how finely ground it was; which helped it blend easily into my cereal or my smoothies leaving a gritty texture. Also the addition of Q10 is a nice touch for that extra antioxidant boost, especially for someone like me who suffers from Type 1 diabetes. Unfortunately about half way through me taking it they changed the flavour and said that they "improved" the flavour. However, now I can feel a gritty texture as it doesn't seem so finely ground. Whilst it does taste a bit nuttier (if you prefer that), it now leaves little bits in your mouth after you have finished eating. This really is a case of "If it isn't broken, then don;t try and fix it". This is why I have now scored this as a 4 star product.

Great product and service. Been using this product for so long I have lost count of my reorders. I use it daily with Linwood milled seeds, dehulled hempseed and chia seeds. In a fruit blend of pineapple, mangos and pawpaw. Delicious, highly nutritious and healthy. I highly recommend.

I purchased these ground seeds and nuts for my 86 year old mother in law because I wanted her to enjoy the health benefits of the product. Since introducing them to her diet, her digestion is regular, therefore improved, and she no longer needs Senna supplements.
