I make homemade moisturizer. The package was severely damaged and seemed old which is why I removed a star. I didn’t need to store as I used it all at once so not too much on an issue other than just not as good of quality as it was previously.

I love using shea butter for my hair care but choose not to apply it to my face or body. For those areas, I prefer a different product from West Africa, which I prefer to keep private as I believe some things should remain within our own communities.This shea butter is pretty good; it has a nice scent and a smooth, creamy consistency. I purchased it not just for my hair but also as a moisturizing treatment for my leather furniture. I mix shea butter into my DIY leather conditioner, which I use every six months. While it may feel oily at first, my leather absorbs it wonderfully, revitalizing my 30-year-old set and restoring its original look and feel.Remember, not all shea butter is of high quality, and they can vary significantly while this brand stands out, it's important to choose wisely. I believe I did!Typically, I prefer not to buy shea butter online because I have a black-owned African Caribbean supermarket nearby, but unfortunately, they were out of stock. This company is black-owned, yet during my visit to their website, I noticed a limited representation of black employees in the images, although there was a notable presence of other POC. Regardless, I chose to purchase from them because they were the only brand I found on Amazon without needing to search extensively for ownership details. While this may not be a priority for everyone, it is very important to me.

I bought this when I was pregnant the first time to help ease stretch marks (it worked like a charm). The smell is a little earthy, but not strong at all. This stuff is magical. I use it on dry hands, cracked feet, and all over for smooth skin. I highly highly recommend especially if pregnant. And a bonus: can’t beat the price.

I love how it feels on my skin, it’s super smooth when you put it on. I’ve been wanting Shea butter for a long time now cause I’ve heard all the great qualities about it, but my container was cracked. The lid was when I open my box so that’s the only downside of it.

This product is super hydrating, has the perfect consistency, smells wonderful, and is well worth its price..
