Sometimes I think the competition gets on these sites and makes things up.....Because, I bought this and the smell is not horrible at all. I can't even smell it when I put it right up to my nose. Crazy. Anyway, I have found a way to help this work very swiftly...well at least your appendages. Apply the Scabisil and then put saran wrap (small piece) right over it to keep it moist. Then either tape the plastic on or put an Ace bandage over that and leave it on overnight and even into the next day. It's very miraculous. I saw previously where someone rubbed Tea Tree oil on first and then put the Scabisil on after that. Tea Tree oil will NOT kill scabies alone. But in combination with something else, it will certainly help. Although Scabisil may not have all natural ingredients, at least it is a far cry better than Permethrin. These are just my thoughts. God bless anyone with Scabies. It's so miserable. Keep the faith. You'll get there!!

With animals (including horses and dogs), the 10% Sulfur Butter works MUCH better with consistent healing results. The Scabisil doesn't work even half as well. For that reason, I re-checked the Scabisil label and it does NOT say "10% Sulfur" anywhere. That would explain why it doesn't work as well as the Sulfur Butter that DOES say 10% sulfur on the label (both are made by the same company). I've been using Sulfur Butter at our animal sanctuary for many years with fantastic results. Scabisil is not the same and the healing results are dismal in comparison.

This is a FANTASTIC product and better than Permethrin. But it will tarnish silver, so keep away from your silver products while using this. Silver is normally tarnished by Sulfur in the air. The tarnish is just Silver Sulfide. This concentrated sulfur will tarnish silver fast. If you do tarnish your silver, do not polish it, because polish just removes the silver sulfide, which means removing some of the silver. Instead, you can reverse the chemical process with aluminum foil, baking soda, salt and hot water. Put the silver in a container made of aluminum or lined with real aluminum foil. Dissolve baking soda (about 1 cup per gallon of water) and an equal amount of salt in very hot water. Pour the solution into the aluminum container, and make sure the silver is touching aluminum at all times. The sulfur will transfer from the silver to the aluminum. Back to the product review: This is a gentle product. It does not smell bad, and it is actually pleasant. It is therapeutic for the skin.

Very good and effective product. I combined with Mite-B- Gone, Sulfur soap, Neem Oil and butter. All my nightmares every night scratching due to scabies are gone. I am still using it eliminate eggs, etc. I went to dermatologist before but it was really disappointing waste of time just discuss scabies problem for just 5 minutes, be prescribed by a useless fancy anti acne cream which in two days was gone. I recommend this product. Just be prepared for skin reaction like irritation, etc. Anyhow, it works!

this cream works really well. It saved my sanity during the beginning of microscopic skin mites I caught in Florida from outside plants. They are called the mysterious biting mites. Little known about them so had to do all the research. This cream absolutely helps during process but the only way to kill the skin mites and the EGG NESTS which hatch every 40 days to 6 weeks is a bath soak of 1 to 2 cups of 12% food grade hydrogen peroxide, 1 cup of borax and 3 dropper fulls of Clove essential oil along with your favorite bath oil and sea salt. Soak every night for about 15 minutes. Do not wash off. You will see the mites gone from your skin within a few weeks. I love this stuff I finally bought the 8 oz container because I was using the 2 ounce so quickly. A little goes a long way too. I put it between my toes after I bathe no more athlete's foot and on top of the ends of my toes around the nails to keep my skin soft. I use it under my arms as a deodorant along with the natural crystals no smelly armpits anymore! It also keeps them dry and doesn't stain clothes. Great on cuts I try it on so much stuff and find it works great.

Good cream for infestations of bugs

The smell isn't exactly potent, but it lingers...it lingers a lot. Apparently I had some on my pants, and when I did the laundry the smell transferred to all of my other clothes after washing and drying. It worked decently well, but not as well as I had hoped, and definitely not worth the lingering smell.

This product worked very quickly on my skin condition, yes there is a bit of an odour ( typical as it is made with sulfur), the odor does transfer on clothing so be very careful to wash items separately.

Really big jar and bonus 2 bars of soap. Will purchase again!! Smell isn't that bad it's actually pretty subtil. Used for the first time this morning will update with more results!
