I recently watched the movie My Cousin Vinny and realised how important it is to know how the court system works- even if you haven't been accused of out-of-state murder and armed robbery. This book is exactly what I was looking for: a basic but informative guide to laws and legal issues, including legal rights, contracts, taxes, domestic and business etc.. Easy to understand, it doesn't get bogged down nor go out into the weeds in complicated jurisprudence. A useful and reasonably sized reference tool, but obviously not a substitute for legal counsel.

The book arrived early and in good condition. No tears or other noticable damage. So far I am really enjoying reading it.The content is very basic, and it does not go into a lot of deal. You will have to do additional research on some subjects, but it does give enough to get started or answer basic questions.

I definitely recommend this book to beginners or anyone who is just trying to study up on our laws and the justice law system. This author provided examples and was able to make this book really informational without it being boring or any of type confusing. Definitely recommend if you're just starting out or you just wanna know your rights and law system ;)

This is a good book to either teach you about the basics or remind you of them. Overall it came as described and I love it.
