Just as descibed
I ordered these for "stuffing" for mailing scrapbooks to me grandkids and they were perfect. Just the right size and nice and sturdy. Also didn't shed and flake like so many forms of styrofoam.

Mission accomplished!!!!!
This is excellent for making a fourth-grade class "mission" actually look like whatever mission your grandkid has been assigned! We got the Santa Barbara Mission so we had our job literally cut out for us! I just bought some more for a waterfall project...such fun!!!!!

Workable Product
Blocks worked as planned. Plaster adheres but is removable. Styrofoam is workable and is easily cut with an electric body knife (small saws all). Picture shows upside down Styrofoam blocks on plaster casting (support for a resin river flowing off a plaster glacier). 3D art by watercolorwildflowers.com

Massive mess. Beware.
The company asked for my review. This is Styrofoam. Nothing special as far as I can tell to make it crafting foam. Now partly this is my fault as I didn't know what I was doing, but simply cutting with a knife will produce the biggest, clinging mess you've ever seen short of a glitter bomb. I tried to make topographic mountains for a diorama at school. I will likely be finding Styrofoam balls for the next ten years. And if I'm honest, this was also probably not the most ecological choice either. It was however the only product I could find that was cutable and 2 inches thick.
