FactorDuty 4 All Black Metal Swivel Plate Caster Wheels Heavy Duty High-Gauge Steel (3" No Brake)

Product purchased for a built ice chest that weighed approximately 250 lbs fully loaded. The casters needed to be durable to hold the weight, easily transportable to move fully loaded to different areas/surfaces, and aesthetically pleasing. The brakes(2) were required and tested as some of the areas used had a slight slope, and I’m happy to report that these casters checked all my boxes!The only slight issue I had was with the shipping of the items as the first set arrived in highly damaged box where one caster had fallen out along the way and didn’t make it. (Probably from the weight of the set and the quality of the packaging). The next shipment (of the missing caster) was the wrong size and didn’t match the original order. Despite the shipping issues and the length of time to receive the complete and correct set, the seller was highly responsive and took care of me as quickly as possible. Very satisfied customer and would recommend both the casters and the seller!

Just what I was looking for. They squeak when they roll but I kinda like that. Otherwise WD40 should work. I love them.

I build this coffee roasting stand and used these wheels for it so I can roll it in and out of the house.

I bought these on March 29th 2021 and installed two of them on the pump/handle side of my shop hoist in early April. After about 6 months of very light use (2 engine pulls), the caster bearings started to bind, and that progressed every time I moved the hoist (laden or unladen). I regreased them every other use, but this didnt seem to mitigate their wear. Today (February 4th 2022) one of them broke off while moving the hoist about 10 feet across my shop floor without a load on it. They claim to be rated at 400lbs each (which is what my hoist manufacturer recommends for these casters), and the combined capacity should be 700-800 lbs between the two of them. The hoist weighs about 250lbs without a load, and these wheels are on the pump side, which only bears about 15-20% of any load that the hoist arm bears. The maximum estimated weight that has ever been on these casters is about 600lbs. I'm thoroughly disappointed in their quality, and I will not be using the other two that came with this kit.

These are definitely for WORK. Solid Metal. Nothing is going to stop these wheels and if you need to put them on something heavy you will not be disappointed. I put them on my cat's litter box, a wooden cabinet style cumbersome beast that I needed to be able to move easily for cleaning.What WAS an issue for me is that the holes for the screws are HUGE. You might run into a problem finding screws with a head that are wide enough to fix these in place. I made it work with 4 washers as the screws I needed could not be longer than a half inch, and they simply don't make shallow screws with heads as wide as they need to be for these wheels.Overall I am very happy with his product and do recommend this product, just be mindful about how you're putting this on you furniture.

I used these to replace the wooden feet on a RH low profile modular seat and they are absolutely perfect. I initially chose a smaller size because they came in all black, I’m glad I did because otherwise it would have looked awkward. The wheels are solid and well made. The locking mechanisms are a bit tough to flip up and down, but I anticipate they will be fine after a bit of use. I easily found hardware at the corner hardware store, but you could use washers for any smaller head screws you have around the house. I literally pushed the section across my living room with my toe, smooth as can be on the tile! Love! Definitely will be purchasing again for another project.

They wobble a tiny bit but it does not seem to affect performance. I'm done with the cheap imported polyurethane tire wheels with unrealistically high weight ratings. There is a difference between "working capacity" and "maximum load capacity". At only 600 lbs, which was only a fraction of their max weight rating, those were very difficult to roll because the soft tires squish down into the floor. You don't need wheel locks at this point because the shear weight on the soft tires keeps it from rolling. They don't look flat but they feel flat because you need both hands and your full body weight to move the item around on a perfectly clean and flat concrete floor. Pushing it in the opposite direction to get the wheels to swivel around, the shear weight grinds the soft tire into the floor which then damages them. One set of those did not last a week. I finally ended up with these solid steel wheels without brakes and they roll so much easier... even on a slight slope, the 600 lb weight keeps the cart in place, while also being able to move it with one hand when needed. So far I'm happy and I only took off one star because the black paint on the casters was chipped on all four, and they wobble a little bit as if the hole in the wheel is on a slight angle. They squeaked too but a little oil on the shaft took care of that - kinda surprised they weren't greased at the factory. I will update this review as needed.

We wanted to make an “antique” cart, similar to the old railroad luggage carts. We used old barn wood, and these casters. We then took apart an old rusted wagon, and used the handle on the new art. I turned out PERFECT!

On nous charge un prix important pour la livraison, mais le livreur a déposé le colis vis à vis la porte de garage, j'ai sans le savoir passé sur le colis en sortant mon véhicule. Au prix que l'on nous charge il serait bon que les livreurs respecte les clients. Je suis chanceux que le produit fonctionne tout de même, bonne qualité après cet essais non désiré... il a subit le poids d'un véhicule utilitaire soit plus de 2000 livres

When I received the casters, they were not all black as I expected.Since they are for a carpentry project, I really needed black casters so I'll have to paint the metal... not what I expected when I bought these.Also noted that the total heigh is about 5'' and not 4'' ... this will also change my plans.The product I received is not as described, 2 stars.Fast response from seller when I contacted them.

Great looking, heavy duty castors. Paint could be better applied. Looks like it will wear off easily, since I used these outside on a cart. But overall, great product.

I was not expecting to find these wheels so heavy and strong and a lot bigger than I imagined in a good way. Worth every penny!
