I have been spinning records since 1984 and have experienced ALL of the growing pains associated with this craft. From belt drive turntables to warped records, skipping needles, crate carrying, learning to beat match BY EAR....etc. Once Serato was out and about....YES....innovation at it's best. NOW with PHASE hitting the market, THIS IS A LEGIT GAME CHANGER. Very easy to install and set up. No more worries about feedback, occasional skips, or any of the painstaking nuances associated with turntablism. Response is immediate and exact to include allowing one to be aggressive with the turntable without fear of any mishaps. This program works on a signal being sent to the receiver from the two leads without the actual turntable being plugged into the mixer. The PHASE receiver is plugged in instead. Works with Serato, Traktor and a few other programs. I Love my PHASE and also when you use this product it allows you to save your needles as you won't need them!!! This is a plus since SHURE went out of business. It did, but I did have some issues with it. When I turn it on and get connected then 15min pass i get disconnected and I have to reconnect it. It's simple to reconnect but I don't like that. It only does it once everytime i connect to the phase.

I like the fact that you just connect via USB to a DVS enabled mixer and you are ready to go. No more needles!

I've been a DJ since the .... well let's just say long time! :) I still have crates of vinyl, many crates! I stopped DJing because of kids, family and time. Earlier last year I got back into it and found so much has changed! You guys are cheating now!! No fair!! I had to carry crates and crates of records around everywhere! Now I can carry around my laptop a and controller! I'm happy to have the tech now though. So much easier and fun now too. Last year I started with Serato and Pioneer XP2, to go along with my 1200s. I like it! Nice set up for me. A few months ago I found out about Phase and bought a set. What?!?! This is crazy!! no needles! I have to say I was a bit skeptical at first. After having Phase for a few months and playing around with the beta software. It's so good! I don't have to worry about needles or the skipping. If you are on the fence, I recommend getting Phase and trying it out. My only drawback with Phase is that you there's no "Absolute" feature. I can see why there isn't, but it does make it hard to set up cues. I would have to do that anyway with a new track. But I don't really need that feature when I'm listening to a new track, I set my cues on first listen.

The construction of unit is well made I have not ran into any software issues with the last update everything works as it's supposed to I use tractor Pro 3 and I've had no issues I've also seen two or three of my buddies that have this as well and they use it with Serato really great alternative if you have analog tables and would like to save your needles for other things and upgrade to DVS control. I have DJ'd while they're practicing and using it multiple times for 2 or 3 hours and not had an issue with battery life at all usually would be done and have still about 40% 40 to 45% left battery life is good response is good the latency is negligible and to be expected with a radio transmitter but other than that I think it's a great technology for that DJ that wants to try something new

Excellent product works as intended

These work perfect and no issues after 4 months of use. I am using with Serato in HID mode. I can save my needles for actual vinyl and use these when playing digital files. Update: My phase unit failed after 6 months. Phase tech support was excellent. They paid for the shipping to have the unit returned to them for repair evaluation. They replaced my failed device with a brand new unit at no charge and even covered shipping costs from Paris. The turnaround time was very fast as well. They truly support their products.
