Beautiful designs to learn.

So excited to get this book. I recently bought the Flynn Multi-Frame System at the Road to California quilt show in Jan. I got my quilt top made and ready to quilt. I had no idea what to do so I ordered 502 quilting motifs. It has many different motifs to use and they all seem fairly easy. The pattern tells you where to start and stop, how to line your motif up, and different sizes, borders and variations that each motif will make. Now to decide what motif I am going to use. It is a great book for a quilter that is just started doing machine quilting.

Plenty of motifs to choose from but not many for machine quilters.

I was expecting to have wasted my money on this book, but I was pleasantly surprised. I found , as you would expect, that not all the designs are ones I would use in my quilting. I found several delightful designs that will be used in the future. I especially liked the fact that along with the design , on the same page, they showed several different ways to place and use the design, in a border, using 4 designs to fill a block, etc.

I found this nicely bound book easy to make copies from, for enlargements or even making smaller. For the most part the designs are just the right size. The design choices are varied, useful and crisply presented. Enjoy.

I love the lay flat binding on this book!! Much easier to trace or photocopy the patterns than a paperback. Lots of patterns for different styles of quilts. I like the way they take one motif and show you different ways to use it. One motif may be shown in different size blocks and borders. That way your quilting will flow through out the quilt and enhance, not distract.I think that the patterns are more difficult than the ones in the first book, 501 Quilting Motifs.

This book is for those of us that don't subscribe to the magazines & don't "long arm".I've been looking for designs NOT designed for long arm machines--the are already MANY books out there for them.I agree with the posiives about the format of the book--lays flat, good/durable quality paper, hows various size & variations of many, plus like the little "tacks".Glad I found it.

Love the spiral bound pages...able to lie flat to copy.

Great designs, organised into sections by style and type. The looseleaf format makes tracing onto stencil media very easy.

Fantastic purchase, i have used a number of the designs on my quilts instead of using in the ditch and scrolling - love it and would recommend
