LED Flashlight, Maglight LED Replacement for 3-16 C&D Cells, 3W 12V-18V Bulbs (1 Pack)

The bulbs both arrived well packaged and in working order. They were easily replaced and fit well into my D-cell MagLite flashlight. There was a noticeable improvement in the brightness and zoomability of the light not to mention the extended battery benefits of an LED bulb vs the old ones. I definitely recommend this upgraded bulb if you are running the original bulbs in your MagLite.

Works fine in my 3-D cell Maglite. Not as bright as some of my newer LED flashlights, but this one can be used as a defensive weapon, so I can live with it. The brightness is pretty decent compared to the original incandescent bulbs, and I'm hoping to also get increased battery life.

An excellent upgrade to my old but high quality stainless steel flashlight. Very bright. So much so it leaves temporary blind spots in your eyes. Don’t stare at it. I could not even find an incandescent bulb for 7.5 volts input. (1.5v per cell)

I'll have to update this review after I see how long the batteries last and what the brightness is over that timeframe. I had read a fair amount of reviews that mentioned a yellow color LED light. My LED's do not have any sort of a strong yellow light. Brightness seems good. Installing the bulb was easy and I had no issues. The MagLight seemed to eat batteries and the brightness really decreased with the original bulbs. So far, these LED's are holding strong.

Bright and easy to put in the flashlight

Nice LED. Very bright, really lights up things at a distance. Easy to swap out, works well with my 3 C Maglite. I bought one, not certain it was what I looking for, definitely going to get another for my second light.

Exactly what we wanted, to change our regular flashlight bulbs to LED, for brighter light.

I like these replacement LEDs to retrofit our old Maglite flashlights with their fairly dim incandescent bulbs, but buyers should be aware of the limitations. To take full advantage of the brighter LEDs would require different seating of the element and a different reflector setup. There are some kits like that but at a price that makes more sense to buy a new Maglite instead. I still think this LED is a worthwhile replacement, but it does not work like a flashlight designed from the ground up for LEDs (including newer Maglite products). Explanation: The original Maglite reflector is designed for incandescent bulbs with the filament that radiates light in all directions through the glass while an LED replacement's metal base obstructs its backward-radiating light beam in that direction. This creates a distinct darker spot in the center of the beam, sometimes called a "donut hole" because the beams do not reflect off the back of the reflector to fill the center the same way they do from the incandescent bulb.

This Led bulb transformed my filament Maglite to an amazingly bright torch! And at a cost of ₹900! A new LED maglite costs around 10k, but with this small cost I have saved a lot and also got a quality product.
