With this micro your child can see infusorians with their own eyes (not just the picture in the book), examine onion cells and conduct a number of fascinating experiments. Optics* A special optical glass is used to create the optics of this instrument; such glass has a high level of transparency and doesn't distort images. The lenses are also covered with multiple layers of coating to make images even more clear and contrast. The kit includes three objectives, which provide magnifications from 40x up to 400x. All you need to do to change the magnification is simply rotate the revolving nosepiece holding objectives. Illumination* Two bright illumination systems of this micro give you the rtunity to observe a great number of different samples. Lower illumination is useful when you need to observe transparent objects in transmitted light. You can, for example, examine thin samples of and animal origin.
