Build quality seems stout, so far so good

So far I am impressed with the build quality, fit and finish of the pieces. This review is before use on water, though I have attached it to my float tube.Couple things, my Lowrance fish finder did not come with screws/bolts to mount down the 4 corners to the brocraft pedestal. I will need to visit hardware store for some stainless bolts and nuts to do this. Would have been awesome to include these but each user may need slightly different size and including more stainless hardware would increase cost of product. The strappable mounting piece for the transducer is molded in the same sturdy ABS type plastic as other pieces. The way it locks together when you screw it is similar to the mounting arm from Lowrance, also plastic. I am OCD about gears stripping or wearing through over time, I may in the future look at making my own strappable transducer bracket out of metal. This product was preferable than some other designs where the fish finder unit sits on top of the battery box, this is too high for my tastes and always looks imbalanced. I will be putting my 5AH battery in a rear/side pouch of my togiak tube and running a cable out to the fish finder.

Great mount, double check the strap length you need, Lowrance Hook series doesn’t directly fit.

This is actually a pretty good mount for a float tube. I have a Cumberland which doesn’t have a huge tube diameter and the straps only have about 3-4 inches left when sinched down with the mount and the transducer mount. One complaint I have ( which was very easily fixed with a drill press in my application) is this mount DOES NOT directly fit the Lowrance Hook models. I have hook reveal which has the same base as the modern Hook2 models. You’ll have to essentially expand some on the holes and it works perfectly. It’s easy and obvious to figure out if you find yourself with that combination.

float tube bracket

I bought this for use with my cumberland float tube and it works fantastic! Way better than I was expecting. simple to use, secure, easy to disassemble if need be, reasonably priced and very K.I.S.S.

Strapped too short

This is supposed to be a generic mount for a transducer and a fishfinder. The fact that the strapping is about a foot short is ridiculous. For the cost of a little strapping? The picture on the page looks like a standard size dingy it but obviously it’s a very small one. I have three inflatable‘s and this will fit on none of them. This will not fit on a regular size dingy of any manufacture. I’m not gonna send it back because everything else seems to work and that’s the only reason I gave it a two star but I’m gonna have to go out and buy new strapping for it.

Bought this mount for my classic accessories pontoon boat and the straps were way too short

Nice Addition

With a new inflatable pontoon in my hands and no real way to attach my Go Pro and action cams anywhere. This setup is absolutely perfect for my need. Simple design but feature and adjustable rich. You can't go wrong here.
