Easy install, improved performance and sound
Very easy install. Part is built perfect for my CBR 500r. Had a predrilled hole for the rivet, and everything fit and adjusted with ease. Bike sounded great. I left the baffle in, but it still sounded significantly better than with the oem part on.

Exceeds expectations
Honestly I was really insecure about purchasing a new exhaust for some reason, I didn't want to get a cheap tacky exhaust but having a 2014 Honda CB500F (My first bike) It didn't make sense to me to spend 600-800$ on exhaust I figured save it towards I nicer bike.. Listening to a bunch of different exhaust comparisons online I didn't see much of a difference and said what the hell 220$ lets see. The stock sounded like a scooter. This has a very throaty sound to it and accelerating out of turns sounds SO good I installed it late at night and decided to take it for a little putt around to test it out and ended up riding around for over an hour. I thought after reading reviews I would take the baffle out for sure but glad I tried it with it in first it's PLENTY loud. Install took 10 minutes.

Huge Improvement Overall
Would definitely recommend this exhaust to others, looks/sounds way better than stock.Installation is easy; two nuts to remove existing exhaust, loosen (but do NOT remove) nut on collar of coffman exhaust, slide on, adjust, drill hole through existing hole in coffman exhaust (get someone to hold it in place to make things easier), remove coffman exhaust and take sandpaper to the interior of the pipe to remove metal burs, pull out any of the burs / other metal created from drilling, slip on exhaust again, line up with hole, take rivet gun (not included) and rivet (included) and rivet exhaust in place, tighten nut on exhaust, fire up bike and listen to that baby purr.Hopefully the above gives you an idea of what's involved. Even if you have zero experience with tools this is something you could complete with ease (granted you have the appropriate hardware/tools available to you). Start to finish this took me about 15 minutes.Cheers,Stay safe out there.

Bang for your buck
The media could not be loaded. Overall good value, the bolt that came with the clamp did break on me so I got a new clamp from Napa auto parts for $5. Did install a rivet in to the pipe so it wouldn’t fly away on the freeway.

Happy with purchase
I waffled for a while on whether to upgrade my exhaust on my CBR500R. After looking at options, I settled on the Coffman's Shorty slip on. Installation took ~30 minutes and required a wrench and rivet gun. Simply remove the old exhaust, slip on the new one and mark where you want to put the rivet. Take the exhaust back of, drill a small hole for the rivet, slid the exhaust back on and pop the rivet on. Finally, tighten down the muffler to spec. The baffled sound is pretty decent. A marked improvement from stock. The other benefit is that I was able to buy a larger set of saddle bags without having to worry about them sitting on top of the stock muffler. I have noticed no performance losses.

Warranty your stuff better Coffman
I had a Yoshimura that cost twice as much. Tone is comparable but this one is louder out of the box. And after you remove the silencer is even louder. It's not deafening still but now it's loud enough that I feel like cars hear me next to them even if they don't see me. Looks nice. It's true bolt on... comes with a "mandatory" rivet. But this thing disclaims everything.... even with the rivet installed it says you can't highway ride it without voiding warranty... so ya... loss of a star there but otherwise perfect exhaust for me.
